Agathé Pâtisserie Petite reviews
24 Petite is a little stall in a shopping mall.
Really enjoyed the pandan croissant but will skip the pandan custard heart in the future.
The custard heart crust is made of croissant dough. It was difficult for me to get a good bite with the pandan custard which was floppy and awkward.
INCREDIBLE pastries. The strawberry and white chocolate croissant is to die for.
Would go so far as to say it's the best croissant I've ever had.
There was no line and the service was friendly and prompt.
Perfection!
Bought almond croissant ($8). It was nice but not the best. The layers were crispy but too sugary and soaked to honey or syrup too much. Actually after i had a few bites, it became a task to finish off.i feel like it is way overpriced.
Enjoy a takeaway coffee from next door and a croissant from this restaurant to complete a happy Melbourne. The bread is so chewy that you have to put a lot of strength into your hands! (That’s how delicious it is)
Wow. Amazing crossaints. Didn't want to wait half an hour in line at Lune, so I found this gem of a bakery. Absolutely delicious. Will be back!
Compared to the market, we can buy without lining up that far.
The almond croissant is especially delicious
Good selection of pastries available even when arrived after lunch time on a Tuesday.
It was my first time here and I was asking for recommendations/questions but the worker doesn’t seem too happy to help - answers were short and curt.
Quite pricey too - croissants average $9 each.
Hope they can get a proper box to pack those pastries - I got 4 different pastries all jumbled in 1 paper bag on a soft paper tray. Not ideal.
I love that there is one in the city. I come here as often as I possibly can to get myself a little treat. Their pandan croissants are amazing. Prices are a little bit expensive, however you pay for quality so it is worth it. Doesn't have the same range as the one in South Melbourne markets. However, there is enough to choose from and very rarely a long line
This place offers an amazing selection of pastries. It’s recommended to arrive before 10: 30 am to ensure availability since they only offer takeout and no coffee.
Their pandan croissant is delightful and intriguing choice. The aroma of the pandan pastry is incredible. Although the flavour wasn’t as intense as I anticipated, it was still enjoyable and worth trying. Since it was my first time trying pandan, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It wasn’t overly sweet.
If you’re not into pandan, they have a variety of other options to choose from. I personally tried their pandan custard flan, their famous pandan croissant, and the PB pastry, and all of them were pretty good.
The pandan custard was warm, soft, and absolutely delicious. The croissant was flaky, crispy, and lightly dusted with icing sugar, adding a touch of sweetness. The PB pastry was chunky, crispy, and incredibly enjoyable. As a peanut butter fan, I particularly liked it the most.
Visited Agathe for the famous Pandan croissant. It was good, but didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The store was quaint and small, with no queue - a plus. A decent experience overall
Fantastic little hidden gem. Staff are very funny and knowledgable about coffee.
Excellent coffee, quick polite service, good selection of pastries.
Would highly recommend going here.
Central location for your croissant fix!
Got here nice and early to get the pandan croissant and flan. It was excellent.
That crunch and layers on the inside with the light pandan flavour is very tasty.
Highly recommend the flan for the strong pandan flavour and overall balance.
Will come again! Thanks
Cue wasn’t bad for a Saturday morning.
Pastries were good! Would love to comeback and try more:)
Love it! A small 'blink and you might walk straight pass it! ' Bakery shop with a small but beautifully crafted croissants, danishes, Madeleine's.
Can't go wrong with the pandan croissant - do yourself the favour and treat yourself!
Cute little shop in a small alley way. But probably needs a bit of heat up before eating because the croissants lost their crispness after short amount of time
Their classic croissant ($5.5/ea) is by far the best I’ve ever had. Madeleine ($2/ea) was buttery and moist, so good! Only one thing, flan croissant was too sweet to my liking. Beware of the long queue tho.
Beautiful selection of croissants and pastries! I asked some questions regarding the selection, and all questions were answered patiently. We had their original and pandan croissant, they were really good, crispy outside and fluffy inside like they should be! One of the best croissants in Melbourne. Can't wait to come back to try the other high quality pastries in their menu. Highly recommend a visit!
Hands down my favorite pastry store in Melbourne. Well worth the wait in line and it moves very quickly.
Pastries always so consistently good and flaky, danishes are never overpoweringly sweet and always does the ingredients justice.
I have to admit I was expecting a little bit more from the jam and peanut butter Mille feuille, pastry was a little soggy and flavors didn’t hit well but nothing else ever disappoints. Their almond croissant is always a crowd pleaser
I've been to most french bakeries and Agathé truly makes the best croissants and pains au chocolat in Melbourne and surroundings. I just had their Chausson à la rhubarbe, it was just perfect.
The staff is also very nice, and eager to speak french with me. J'adore!
The best pandan crossiant, and just beautiful tasty pastries in general. We were staying in the city and couldn’t miss the opportunity to try Agathé. It truly didn’t disappoint.
