The initial phone call I got for a potential apprenticeship from AGA had ZERO info on the site/pay/start date which was frustrating. Went in for the interview a few months ago now (got offered work that day, knocked it back for the interview) Interview went well enough. I kept in touch every now and then, they kept on telling me on the phone they had "No update on the positon". But yet AGA keep on posting the same add on seek for the same job every month. So let's face it, you are obviously in touch with the company if you keep reposting the position. I later found out that what I applied for was a "expression of interest" even though the add DID NOT STATE THAT and reads as if there are actual positions. If I was told or if the add stated it was A EOI I would of known what I was in for. So in short don't advertise for positions that don't exist and state clearly if it's an expressions of interest.

Pretty poor on the communication front. Amazed to see that they spending big dollars on radio advertising and when you follow up regarding the ad, they have nothing to offer. We were looking for somebody from retrenched auto industry and they couldn't help out after saying they could! Others out there who are more committed.
