Afghan Kebab Campbellfield

This place used to be one of my most favorite places to eat in or takeout. In 2018-19 the price of any kebab polaw was $12, now minimum is $22 price went almost double. On the other hand, it was very hard to finish one plate that time. It was good for my appetite. Now the size of serving is almost 2/3rd.

Finally I had to wait for 40 minutes for 1 kebab polaw today. After I asked them why 7-8 people after me got the food but not me. I don’t recommend this place anymore. Never going back. There are plenty of places you can find better food, services and enjoyment.

I can see business is shrinking, it will go out of business very soon like this.

Came here last night (6th) of October and ordered a Maycha Pilau and Shami kebab.

The Shami kebab literally smelled of fumes and the meat on the Maycha Pilau looked old. I ate regardless and was greeted by the desire to return my stomach contents, even 10 hours after the meal, I'm still unwell!

Avoid like the plague!

We have been going weekly for many years and the food and service have consistently been great. But it was the first time trying their lamb cutlets today and wow! So soft and just cuts through with great balance between meat and fat. Flavour was just enough to have the true taste of the meat. Delicious!

A hidden gem for lovers of Afghan cuisine. From the moment we stepped in, we were transported to a world of rich flavors and warm hospitality. The kebabs and bread were nothing short of perfection, tender and bursting with spices that delighted the palate. But the true star was the Zereshk Palaw, a dish that was a delightful mix of sweet and savory, with a unique twist. The authentic Afghan flavors combined with great staff was delightful experience. If you're in the area and searching of a taste of Afghanistan, this place is a must-visit!

Amazing grills! Highly recommend the mixed grill, Afghan garlic bread or lamb tikka and qabuli pulau. Bread was freshly made and very tasty. Big portions tasty food. Clean and spacious restaurant with friendly staff. Quick and efficient service.

V ordered 1 lamb menace, 1 Manto, 1 mix kebab with large rice. V didn't get any mixed kebab but instead v got double rice. When v called customer service they told us the manger is gone talk 2 us but nothing happened. We're still waiting 4 a refund

Excellent food, meat was juicy and tender. Everything was well seasoned. Spacious and clean dining space. One downside is that they need to work on their customer service and I really hope they do because everything else was great.

The food was fantastic. Chicken biryani was tasty and qaboli pelaw was enjoyable. Definitely recommending here.

The food is always fresh no doubt but if you are super hungry, be aware. The food don’t come immediately. Parking can be hard too. Overall experience are 3 stars although the restaurant operator mentioned the parking is not on them as not everyone can walk to the restaurant, can they.

Loved the bread, tasted fresh, nutritious and filling unlike others they leave you dehydrated and are dry.

Great portion, great food, price is reasonable and fantastic customer service - always had a smile when greeting us and also when we needed something.

Good attitude, just the fact they're so eager to tell you that you have to get your own things (cutlery, plates, drinks.) is kinda weird

I bought a dinner from them on the 6th of Nov at 9: 50pm. I used to go to this restaurant before but last two occasions their food quality is dropped ridiculously. I bought a food of $147 and trust me it was not even worth a $50 food. They put small pieces of chicken looks like mince, kebab was soooo thin and Zero taste, lamb was very very dry. I really wanted to take all the food back and show them but It was too late. You have to work hard to earn 150 dollars and that's what these people do when you buy food from thm.wont recommend to anyone, Trust me Master Kebab in Sunshine is 1000 times better than them, their kebab and lamb is juicy and proper pieces of chicken.

Lamb is bloody 26 dollars, hardly get 5 pieces and DRY. SHAME ON YOU!

Good food and service, best if you eat there. Good sitting arrangements. One of the best charcoal grilled BBQ.

Fresh and tasty meat. Kabuli pulao plain taste Meat was juicy and soft and it was well topped with raisins and carrot really good.

Rice with chicken was okay taste like tomato curry. And after food I ordered tea with sweet they took long time to bring tea and sweet
(20 mins) Tea with Gulab jamun was yummy

Worst customer service. They have no care about their customers and didn’t even bother to acknowledge the mistake they made. Won’t got there again.

Very poor custmor service
Today i called them and asked for 5 breads and they told come here breads are ready and when i reached there they asked me to wait for 40 minutes and when i told them that you guys already told me to come there its ready then they started arguing saying if you want you have to wait otherwise you can leave

This place is expensive and the food is average at best. Best part of afghan kebab is the bread. Otherwise everything is portioned quite poorly. 2 pieces of meat and a bucket of rice. Salad contains about 3 leaves 1 slice of cucumber and a quarter chunk of tomato. Sauces have water consistency. There were also raisins in my rice.
