Afghan Ghalji Restaurant

Ordered beef paya there were hairs all over the flash and when complained there response was rude and they said this is how it’s cooked instead of being sorry this was their response that it’s how we are cooking from past three years with hairs all over really disappointing. Waste of money

These guys are serving paya with hairs on it and they told me we are serving paya with hairs on it for three years very bad behaviour of women.rest up to you guys

Food was nice but portions significantly
smaller for the price compared to the other afghani restaurants I have been to.

I order on Menulog and they didn’t deliver food. They charged me money without delivering food. Not good place for delivery.

I ordered take away Aaloo Naan and Roghni Naan just thought it would be same as Fawkner Ghalji but didn’t know it’s not their branch and really disappointed.
The taste of Roghni Naan was not good and in Aaloo naan not enough filling.

I visited this restaurant earlier yesterday and had tried a variety of dishes including Roghani naan, egg curry, palak paneer, dal, chapli kebab, chicken kebab and chicken biryani. Every item served was delicious. Food was authentic with the right amount of spice and kebabs and naan was cooked to perfection. The best part of all was the serving size, very generous portions. My family loved the food too!

Best food in the town. I am a regular customer of this place. I have dinner here almost every night. Never faced an issue. They also customise order as per my request.

Tried Shinwari karahi, And Afghani Pulao.
Great Taste
Oil in the karahi could, ve been a little less But taste was Yumm. Definitely 10/10.

I ordered the puri and halwa set and it was horrendous. I have previously eaten from this place and it was good back then and that it why I ordered again but this time it was terrible. It’s sad their standard is declining. Didn’t expect it to be this bad. The puri looked like half eaten too. I would not suggest to order from here after this experience.

I order roghni naan lacha paratha and plain naan.when we try to eat its all bread need hex-saw to cut bite this bread.waste of money.

The food was absolutely Devine, some of the best food I’ve eaten in my entire life 20/10 words can’t describe, reasonable prices cool little restaurant highly suggest people check it out!

Poor service, arrogant staff and wast of money!

Someone was sneezing non-stop in the kitchen. How can you have sick staff be in the kitchen?

I recently had the misfortune of dining at
"Afghan Ghalji" restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience I wish I could erase from my memory.
The restaurant's mission was to provide the blandest, most uninspiring dishes possible. And speaking of the food, it was a true nightmare.
To add insult to injury, the service was atrocious. The female Receptionist seemed completely disinterested in our presence, frequently forgetting to bring our full menu and disappearing for long stretches of time. When we asked for recommendations or any modicum of assistance, we were met with a blank stare and a dismissive remark. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a top priority for the staff.
To summarize, the Afghan Ghalji is an establishment to be avoided at all costs. Spare yourself the agony and seek nourishment elsewhere.

Delicious food. I ordered take-away. I had the Chicken Karahi and the Afghan rice which was a Pulao style rice. Both were fantastica and I'd happily eat here again. The girl working there was polite and helpful.

Same thing happen with me last time I bought breads all breads too hard which is not good.

When I came to Melbourne, this was the first place I tried and am hooked. I travel 30km whenever I want to eat anything with Pakistani taste.

Recently ordered and i got I can’t explain how they run restaurant everything was not good.recommend to hire good chef.

I absolutely love their beef nehari! Coming again and again just to order it!
