Afghan Delicious Kebab House

-We had to wait more than an hour for our food
-The salad had worm inside which made us feel really disgusted.
-Costs way higher than other restaurants yet tastes the worst.
-The kebab and rice was really dry.
-Please have a reasonable pricing and wash your salads properly!

The minute I got in, it was fancy but when I asked where the toilet was they led me to a creepy hall way towards a crusty door and the bathroom was unhygienic and disgusting. The washbase was so small and the toilet was dirty. JUDGE THE RESTAURANT BY ITS HYGIENE NOT LOOKS.

Poor quality food

SO BAD, We got expired chicken kebab and it smelled so bad. The staff was so rude and complained when we asked for things. They took so long to cook the food and when they gave it to us I was so disappointed. The owner never came out to explain why the chicken was expired or how the qabli wasn't proper qabli. It was just plain rice, carrots and sultanas on it and didn't taste authentic. They would swear at customers behind their backs in dari and gave us bad looks. DONT GET ME STARTED ON HOW OVERPRICED THE FOOD WAS. PLEASE DONT GO FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. It isn't even a 1/5 rating, it is a 0/5.

Horrible food, it was raw and smelled so bad.costed ridiculous amounts for the most smallest plates and bowls, the food was something i could easily make at home and do it better too. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF.

My whole extended family, 25 people, rocked up to this place and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. He told us in advance it might take a little while to prepare our order. When the meals came.omg it was fresh and delicious! The chappli kebab, the shami kebabs were to die for! Kids, teens and adults all loved this place! 10/10 fair price, clean, fresh

I have tried Mantu in almost every shop in Dandeong area and found only 3 of them to be truly good. The rest are just below average. Their Mantu is definitely top 3.
Worth a try.

Really delicious kabuli pulao and chicken tikka kebab. The lamb kebab is good too but not as great as the chicken.
Tried the mantu and it’s quite nice but already cold when served which is too bad.
Food came out a bit slow at almost half an hour after ordering.

Really bad service only two people in staff who are taking orders and serving in 40 mins it like so long as air time then during food if you order anything that will take another 1 hr

Really good food, the Mantu was spiced well and the pallow with chicken tikka was delicious. Highly recommend for the next time you’re in the area!

Absolutely gold! If you haven't been to this restaurant in Dandenong. You must not skip! Absolutely delicious food and very humble owner.

We drove 45 minutes in search of delicious Afghan food and this place was absolute perfection. First of all the service is lovely, and the person making our food went above and beyond! Secondly and maybe more importantly the food was AMAZING. We ordered a variety of things from the menu (mixed grill with rice, kofta curry, mantu). All the food was super tasty and fresh! Price point is great as well. Will be making the trip down here again!

I have been here quite recently a few times and I find that the food is very nice here but I do suggest ordering a bit earlier as your food would take a bit of time to prepare. I honestly think the shop does need a bit of update as well. Otherwise the waitresses are very polite and welcoming and also the tables are also very beautiful as well.

Me and my partner have been coming here for a year while we could and dont know why i havnt left a review sooner. This Afghan restaurant has the best food, offers and hospitality you can ask for. We have come here often and have bought groups in being confident they will love the place and they have. Love love!

Worst customer service around Dandenong for Afghan food. Waited for more than an hour to get the food.

If you looking for quality Afghan food, this is not the place. Items are over priced. Definitely not going there anymore, besides there are many other good Afghan restaurants in Dandenong.

Best Afghan kabab in Dandenong. Its better to call them up before u go. Or give them at least 30mins to prepare.

The food tastes great, no doubt about it. But over recent years, the amount of food contained in the takeaway rice packs has lessened, whereas at one stage just one of those packs would have filled me up but now I feel like I need to eat another one straight away because I'm still hungry, yet the price isn't any lower.
