AF Electrical

Past 2 nights in a row, 10 PM to past midnight, they were using hammer drills and hammers in a mixed commercial/residential building in St Kilda (Woolworth's on Fitzroy Street). Despite being confronted by several residents, and being asked by our OC to not do this, they did not give 1 ounce of concern for the families with children that couldn't sleep, much less about local laws. They did not care, and kept on with it.

Will NEVER use a contractor that shows this little concern for basic common decency.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the team at AF Electrical who I used for a small job at our office in Brighton recently.
From my initial dealings with Scott to the prompt booking time I received and the young electrician Daniel who attended I cannot fault their customer service and respect for their clients.

Incredibly rude staff with what appears to be no pride in the company they represent.
I will never use their services and let everyone I know to avoid AF electrical at all costs.

It was just a few weeks back when I had to relocate to Adelaide from Melbourne. I had to move out of my home, and therefore, I had to handover the home back to the landlord. Prior to that, there were a few electrical connections that called for a repair. I engaged AF Electrical for their electrical services. The electricians did a wonderful job. They made all connections work, repaired the damaged ones and installed new switchboards wherever necessary. In fact, I wondered why I didn’t call them earlier for the same.

AF Electrical did the complete wiring and electrical installation of my new house in Melbourne. Over the last three years, I have not had a single significant electrical issue. The electricians were very experienced and most importantly explained even the smallest aspect of what they were doing. Everything was above board and transparent. The charges were also very reasonable. They entirely deserve the awarded title of State Master Electrician for Victoria in 2014. Licensed, insured and very trustworthy – strongly recommended.

When I wanted to install a state of the art surveillance network in my office. I opted for AF Electrical to do the job. They maintain all my office electrical equipment and do it so well so I don'tneed to look beyond them. Within a couple of days, they had the system up and running. It is a great system with one outdoor bullet camera and ten internal dome cameras that work even in low light conditions. Critical areas like my store room and safe, have video and audio setup, making them very safe and secure. Great professional work and top of the line customer service

As a business it can be challenging keeping up with all the mandatory regulations and the testing and tagging is one area that is vital for any commercial business. I have used AF Electrical for all my factory work and am completely relieved. Every three months they test and tag my heavy equipment and once a year they check the computer systems, printers and faxes. This guarantees that all the equipment is always performing at peak efficiency levels and that they are safe for my employees to use. Thanks to the expertise of AF Electrical, I rarely have downtime in my factory due to malfunctioning machinery and tools. Great work guys, strongly recommended.

Was under quoted by them to install a ceiling fan. They fail to explain total charges in the quoting proccess. However the tradesperson was excellent and work was done properly.

I had noticed that the bills had been very high in the last few months with a spike in the energy usage. On a colleague’s recommendation, I gave a call to AF Electrical to find out what was wrong and if there were any leakages. The guys who came over thoroughly inspected the house. They checked the wiring and the electrical appliance ratings before advising me on a few energy saving measures. One thing they suggested was changing the lights from the current fluorescent to more energy saving LED bulbs. Such as simple thing I never would have thought about! They also advised installing more fire safety measures and a security system. Thanks to them, I feel more secure in my home not to speak about the drop in electricity bills. Great work guys, strongly recommended.
