I recently had a truly awful experience at Aerodrome Automotive and feel compelled to share my frustrations with others they are very unprofessional and overcharged me for the work they did. They provided an inflated quote, claiming that certain parts needed replacing when they were perfectly fine. It was clear that they were trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge about car repairs. They are extremely unreliable and untrustworthy choices for any car repairs.

Unskilled and Inefficient. Not recommend. When the battery light indicated in my Toyota Kluger 2013, the Manager Shane told me the Alternator defective and asked me to bring an Alternator for replacement. He quoted $125 for labour if it could be done in one hour or maximum $245 if it takes 2 hours. Subsequently, he said it took 10 hours to replace the Alternator and charged me $980 including for a new battery. But it seems to me that my old battery remains there unchanged as it is. When I inquired, he said he replaced the battery with a brand new one and all new batteries he has, are dusty and looking old. Photos of what he says brand new battery are attached for your judgement. Although he said replaced, by looking at battery lugs, anyone can understand the battery has not even been removed. He is an inefficient mechanic taking 10 hours to replace an alternator or he charged me unethically. Later, several mechanics I consulted, said 1-3 hours maximum for replacing an Alternator of this car. I am sure, the money so earn will not make any good to him or his family.

Highly unprofessional mechanic. He replaces all the parts and at last find the fault. Not recommend. Just waste of time and money.

Being a interstate truck driver I couldn't get car to them for rwc and work to get done on car so they came pick it up and delivered it back, I didn't find a problem with them

Very rude people especially Felicity. Get told a price on the phone will not be more then go to pick it up tell you it is alot more. Never use them again

Unfortunately uncommon these days

We broke down on our way home on 03/01/2018 & stopped in for urgent help. Our car was made driveable for us to get back to Melbourne in just over an hour! Picked up the problem in no time at all! Very helpful and accommodating. A true & honest mechanic! Our sincere thanks again!
