Fairly reliable service and support is quite helpful.
I think the only con is that service can be rather slow at times.

Being with ADT for 6 years. System fails on there end once. "Unfortunately can't get a technician till next week" leaving my family with no security. Don't think these guys care about our family safety even we pay for it.
Added- yes I have emailed a complaint. And guess what the reply is " we will respond within five working days " you clearly take safety as a joke.

We’ve been trying to get ADT to install a security a cctv system for almost 6 months. They are slow, cancel last minute. They have half completed a job and there is no one who calls back to fix the issue. The accounts department is great at send automated messages to pay for a terrible half complete job though

A quick update after weeks from the initial review and issues - still nothing from adt (other than lots of emails from their accounts departments demanding payment for an incomplete and non working “solution”). Hoping someone from adt might read this and help us resolve the issue. Would be great if you simple do what you say you will do and what you contracted to do… hopefully not too much to ask

Hi ADT - while you’re response to this review shows you have read it, I can confirm you’re follow up service is entirely consistent with the above: confused messages, no single point of contact to help fix the solution. I note you can not callback anyone after they try to reach you. After months we agreed a 7am to noon window for a 15 min job - you turned up after mid day with no communication. Our first issue on video cameras was a faulty piece of equipment on your behalf. The other part of fixing the alarm system control pad is still not complete as ADT insists on call out fees and other costs to finish the job they contracted to do. I get emails from multiple people with no clarity on who to deal with.

Unfortunately adt is pretty much the only game in town at this point A if you have an alternative. Take it. Terrible to deal with, not customer centric. They outsource each component of their business to various vendors who do not communicate and this will become your problem. The sales team has no link to the install or billing team and no one will take accountability for your account.

Whatever you do, don’t do ADT! Without doubt the worst company I have dealt with, totally unresponsive, you never get what you pay for, appalling after sale, service, highly recommend you go elsewhere

My experience with this service has been dreadful. We have been chased to pay invoices for a monitored alarm service that was cancelled many years ago after having managed this up previously and believing it had been resolved at the time. There are some serious concerns regarding the ethics of a company that harass people to pay bills for services not rendered.
Disgusting. Beware when you sign up with this company!

Never get any responses from sales person or service team after installation. I have been asked for more cameras for three weeks, the sales just like disappear, never reply the calls, never reply the text message, called service team for three weeks, only answer I got is waiting for the sales team.

Rupesh installed our new alarm system today. He was very professional knowledgeable and friendly! He showed us how to use website and mobile apps! The house feel a lot more secure now:)

I have had the most horrifying experience i have ever had in my 77 years of life.
I was speaking to a lady name REBECCA, which i should state, was the rudest person i have ever spoken to. I have been trying to contact ADT Security for the last 3 weeks just for an installation of another camera.i m already an existing customer for the last 11months.i haven't heard back from anyone with a simple quote.every time I tried to contact someone they hang up or keep me on hold without responding to my queries. Today was the worst customer service i have ever experienced through Rebecca from ADT. I would never recommend this service to anyone.

Rupesh installed a new installation today and was extremely professional, responsive and polite. He ran through the process very thoroughly whilst clearing any doubts we had and explaining everything very well. His service was excellent!

I have had Ken / Sam came to install camera and alarm system, very good professional service and very careful with the new home. Highly highly recommand them if getting a security camera setup.

Had a system upgrade attended. I appreciate the time the technicians (Rupesh and Paris) took to make sure everything was installed properly and working, and that I understood how to work the app/equipment that came with this system. I appreciate the extra care and patience the technicians showed during their visit

They don't even know what they are doing.
Seems like they have long waiting list to get parts and installation.

Also left expensive parts outside of no one living house. Good job.
Ordered on 6th July and still wating.

This company does not understand what customer service is. It will try to extract as much money as possible from you and their sales people will give you miss-leading information about the contract you are really getting yourself into. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! - you are better off installing camera or security systems yourself or with an electrician. That is all this service is, a glorified alarm. We have endured 3 terrible years with this company and at NO POINT during those 3 years, they have shown any attempt to apologise for the poor service, arrogant people on the phone.

Very poor customer service. They convinced me to upgrade to new system in the house which I bought where there was an old monitoring system. They offered 2 months monitoring free as well. It’s been more than 1.5 months since I first started. 3 times appointment was scheduled and technicians visited but panel installed is not working and every time new person visits and do some work and next appointment has to wait couple of weeks. Almost free monitoring offered is over but the installation is not yet complete. During this covid time I don’t appreciate back and forth appointments and I did not get proper support and response from customer service team as well. Made a terrible mistake of choosing ADT

I have been trying to cancel the alarm monitoring for 2 months now as NBN was installed and they keep on taking money out of my credit card. I have called 3 times and get transferred overseas and they have no idea about customer service nor do they care.
