26Best place for souffle pancakes in the CBD! Good flavour options and really nice fluffy pancakes.
I took my friend here to try the souffle pancakes and they were so so good! I loved the quiet and relaxed atmosphere in such a cosy little place. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy and jiggly. I also highly recommend the Honeycomb Iced Latte to accompany the pancakes, they go together SO WELL! I'll definitely come back here again:)
Japanese souffle-style pancakes are the main course, served with a variety of different coffee and teas. Delicious all round
Deliciously fluffy souffle pancakes! Got the original flavour which was the perfect level of sweetness and came with some delicious cream that paired well with the maple syrup. Unlike other souffle pancakes, these weren't overly meringue-like, and still had some pancake texture to them. The big surprise was the coffee mojito - coffee+mint+lime concoction that sounded honestly a bit gross at first but was actually really, really good and refreshing!
Forgot the Pancake Parlour this is the real deal, vastly superior food, atmosphere and prices. Do yourself a favour and go down.
Such a fun way to try pancakes! Not only do they like massive, they are extremely fluffy too. There are always different specials on the menu, so make sure you check that! Also a selection of baked goods to pick from in the window. I tried the Mochi ones, and they were so cute. If you like Japanese pancakes, make sure to give this place ago!
Pancakes were great, but waited for longer than I would have liked. My cup of hot chocolate was only half full which was disappointing. And both times I’ve eaten here I’ve ended up with a stomach ache, which is pretty unusual for me.
We ordered take away pancake, it still warm and fluffy when we arriving home, and the cream and ice cream toppings were packed separately which is considerate and thoughtful.
Wanted to find out the craze for soufflé Pancakes. Texture is really fluffy & tastes eggy. Would be nice if it had a bit more buttery taste.
Because the Pancakes are rather bland tasting, the taste of the toppings actually popped.
Oh. Great coffee & an innovative range of beverages to try. Was not adventurous to try & just went for the good old cuppa.
Lovely Pancakes and good coffee with lovely, welcoming staff. Definitely a good place for dates as well!
I love these pancakes, perfectly fluffy without being eggy. And delicious toppings without being sickly sweet. And how pretty is my iced tea? ! Easy to order with the app once you figure out it's quirks. No reservations available, and only two large party tables outside. Definitely hope to return!
Do not miss out this jiggly Japanese souffle pancakes in Melbourne! It offers different flavours of soufflé pancakes including sweet flavours like tiramisu, white chocolate strawberry, Japanese hojicha as well as savoury pancakes like Okonomiyaki. We ordered the banana pudding pancake - vanilla pudding flavoured Crean, fresh bananas, caramel sauce and crispy banana chips. The texture was really soft and fluffy. I was also impressed by the Japanese hojicha pancake we have ordered - it came with tofu pudding, red bean paste and black sesame crumbles. And do not forget to try out their Basque cheesecake - which came with different flavours like Nutella hazelnut, black sesame. The black sesame cheesecake is a bomb. It was loaded with black sesame and it was not overly sweet. The drinks offered were also refreshing - highly recommend the yuzu and grapefruit soda?
Thank you for the delicious dessert, my kids absolutely loved this place. Unlike any sort of dessert we've had thank! Yum, I recommend!
Food was so beautiful! Looked gorgeous, aesthetically 10/10. The taste was very good, but not outstanding (8/10). The food wasn’t too filling though. Better for dessert than a meal.
Brilliant service, beautiful people and pancakes the best I have ever tasted. So happy I found this gem of a place!
Good choice for afternoon dessert after class, we had caramel coffee and fruits pancakes, both were delicious
With seasonal and signature options, you can’t go wrong with a soufflé pancake. Although they look heavy, they are so surprisingly light and delicious that you’ll consider sharing a second helping! I tried the seasonal option - Banana Pudding - passing on additional toppings. It was incredibly tasty, finished with a smooth vanilla pudding. Coffee was also well done. Will definitely return to try all the other options!
Dined here multiple times and each time the Japanese soufflé pancakes have been consistently great; very soft, light and fluffy, sweet with a bit of eggy taste. They have a decent selection of flavours to choose from with seasonal specials such as chocolate/chestnut and matcha/yuzu. Wait time can be long when it's busy as the soufflé pancakes are cooked to order.
Here is a small Japanese pancake shop, coffee was a bit weak for me and houjicha pancakes were rich and creamy, welcoming and nice staffs
Absolutely amazing Desert as well as savoury okinomiyaki
Pancakes are uniquely fluffy with a perfect mixture of toppings as well as a fantastic selection of drinks to top it off
Slightly long wait time but well worth the wait
