Admella Motel reviews
26 Good size room, clean and tidy, walking distance to shops and restaurants
Would stay again.
The owner was such a lovely man. So caring and friendly. Room immaculately presented. Loved the large rain shower head. So nice and relaxing after a busy day. Kitchen beautifully fitted out with everything needed. Large bed super comfortable with lovely fresh clean linen. Towels also large and of lovely quality. Location to the town fantastic. I walked everywhere. I have stayed here many times in the past but this was my best stay yet. I will be back. Thank you.
You could be the next!
I have booked this place in mid Nov 22 for 2 nights during X'mas holidays. But surprisingly they had cancelled my reservation and sold it for higher rates as the demand was high for Xmas holidays. They haven't even informed me anything about this cancellation untill I contacted them on the check in day. Manger and co gave me so many misleading information but it is pretty clear that they were too greedy sell the rooms at higher rate. One of their staff was so rude at me when I was questioning on my booking. My holiday plan was completely spoiled because of their greediness. If you have already booked or going book at this place, please ensure you contact them before your check in date. You will be the next victim.
This place is underrated! The best Motel we stayed at during our trip along the Great Ocean Road. Very comfortable beds, super clean room & very spacious (we were 3 adults), great location, very friendly staff and with the best prices. One can also park the car outside the bedroom - so convenient! Highly recommend Admella Motel. Will definitely stay there again:)
We enjoyed our stay at Admella Motel very much. We were warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay in Portland. Location was good we could walk to the sea and also to the main shopping centre.
A lovely little motel that was quiet and comfortable while also near the beach and the centre of town. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was a great little base for the two days were were in town.

I am typing this review in my cold cold room. There is a panel heater, but it is very inefficient.
The air-conditioner is not a reverse-cycle type, and therefore it is of no use to warm the room.
The door is not well sealed, and the cold air is coming through the bottom of the door. In short, it is not much better than staying in a cool room. The only consolation is that the bed is supplied with electric blankets.
Instead of supplying milk in portion-control unit, it comes in small jar - washed and sanitized orange juice bottle.
The accommodation is basic, but clean. It is within walking distance to the shops and eating places.
Nice and quiet. Lovely and clean. Comfortable beds and nice hot shower. Great friendly service. Great prices as well?
What a lovely, clean place to stay
Lovely friendly greeting at reception and even at check out
Will be back again
Room was quiet and very clean with plenty of hot water and two easy chairs which always make a room more comfortable. Jeneece was very friendly and helpful. Although basic, this motel is certainly not short on the things that matter. It's also a hop skip and jump to the park that overlooks the beach. I'd happily stay here again. It was great value for money.
Lovely small motel, twin room was comfortable and cosy. Received free continental breakfast each morning (juice, bread, milk, jam, butter, vegemite and two choices of cereal). Quiet court with a brand new petrol station across the road. Lovely owners. Thank you Janeece and Bryan for a comfortable room and a great weekend.
The owners have done a great job in styling and matching colours to dress up the rooms. From the carpets to the brick wall and curtains with the towels and bedspreads all matching the new laminate benchtop serving the kitchen and bathroom area giving the room necessary to put out toiletries. A really nice room with great space for an older, budget motel. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Nice and quiet too. Firm bed.
Excellent affordable motel. Clean, cosy, quiet and close to shops and eateries. Has everything we need.
The best budget motel I've stayed in by far.
Yes it is older, but it is well maintained and clean. The WiFi was fast and stable. It was in a quiet spot, and close enough to walk to the shops. Highly recommended.

Reasonably priced nice clean room with good amenities. Breakfast was a delight. Definitely recommend for budget stay
Very clean and friendly, quiet location, great price. We were able to make a basic dinner in the microwave and use the kettle. It's a short walk to the beach and shops. Two blocks from the vline bus stop.
A fantastic Hotel such a friendly staff that greeted me it was like calling in to Mum's house for a visit all the little things that you love. Great location to
Staff who is at the front desk (Jane & I believe she runs her own business) is very friendly & helpful. The room is spacious, clean & has all the facilities. Close to the city centre, you can walk to pretty much everywhere (we drove as we had a little baby with us). If I go to Portland again, definitely I will look for the availability in her motel first. Highly recommended
Janice and her husband at Admella motel are warm and friendly and made our stay very pleasant.
Great value and excellent service. It was no trouble for them to keep our catch in the freezer and provide help for navigation around the area. Will definitely stay again when up this way.
