Adara Richmond

Only stayed one night, but it was a great little room at a very reasonable price. Public transport is right out the front and plenty of great cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

My friend booked for a room with two single beds via booking site. Received a follow up call from accom & confirmed details, including two single beds. On check in we were told by reception that it was a studio suite with only one bed. My friend mentioned the booking & phone call & the reception person said VERY FIRMLY the phone call was from their manager who “wouldn’t make a mistake like that”. The reception person quite rudely reiterated how infallible their manager is with more comments that blatantly insinuated that my friend was incorrect & she was to blame. I’m not sure why my friend would ever lie about or miss details like seperate beds (it’s literally in writing outside of the phone call) but I’m equally not sure why a reception person would so rudely defend their manager as not possibly being wrong rather than just say can we fix the situation at hand as there seems to have been an oversight. And literally we were just asking for extra sheets to split the beds. Not a whole new room or anything. Reception staff just reiterated how it was clearly our fault & extra sheets wen the room staff had gone home was a big ask & not possible without a lot of fuss. Terrible service. So rude.

Was told by 2 staff that I could cancel my last night if needed when I tried to do this an extremely arrogant lady refused. I was made to feel stupid and was belittled. Obviously bad communication between staff.

Adara Richmond has the most amazing compassionate staff I've ever met. So helpful, great communication and absolutely went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Our father was in Epworth Richmond, having had open heart surgery and an unplanned pacemaker!
My sister & I urgently flew down from QLD, booking with Adara as it is a very short walk to the hospital. But we never knew how long we would actually need to stay due to dads slow recovery at Epworth. But Adara accommodated us each time, as day-by-day we let them know. They were totally understanding that we were constantly waiting on the Epworth doctors to daily advise if dad was going home or staying another day, even to the point of a late 12.00 checkout on the last day!
When we hired a car, and there was nowhere to park it overnight, the amazing Annie offered her own carpark to us for the night. So amazing
We send a massive THANK YOU to the staff, Annie, Alex, Sarah, Paula.sorry if I've missed anyone but your all amazing! Such kindness is rare, but not at Adara!

We have stayed a number of times at the Adara over the last couple of years. The apartment style rooms are roomy, with a separate bedroom and small kitchen. Carparking can be arranged at a nearby garage for extra cost. The Adara is close to public transport into the city and a short walk nearby convenience stores and supermarket.

Great hotel near all the bars and restaurants of Richmond. Rooms are well appointed and spacious.

Room & halls had this horrible smell, which smelt like pee. Bathroom was disgusting with mould everywhere. Bed had stains on it.
Wont be booking here again.

I have stayed here a few times as a nursing student. The rooms are always incredibly clean kudos to the cleaning staff they do an impeccable job. The front desk staff are some of the best in the area. I've stayed at numerous places in the area and Adara goes above and beyond. I will continue to stay here when needing to go to Epworth the staff are what keeps me coming back, keep up the good work Adara.

Great value for money clean and modern rooms just be careful on where to park.

Great place to stay. Staff so helpful. Quiet room with everything l needed. So close to the Epworth Hospital.

We spent 5 weeks at Adara.
Rooms were clean, very spacious, secure parking under the building.
Staff were polite, nothing was out of the way for them.
200mts from Epworth, 50 mts from Bridge Rd.
Closest Supermarket 1km away.

The management and staff here are excellent, the faculties are great you will enjoy your stay here

Great location, good rooms but lacks service.
Service too used to be great but has degraded over last year to an unacceptacbel level. Something must have changed in management which drives behaviour of the front office staff. Not happy with service at all.

Our stay was below average. Room was OK, but parking was a nightmare. There's very limited parking spots in the hotel and they charge you 30 bucks a night. Street parking is 4 bucks an hour if you can find. The white Aussie girl at the reception couldn't care less about the customers. Room service happens once a week and there are limited toiletries. I had to ask them to empty the trash but the cleaners said that they weren't allowed to do so it as per the management order. The only good thing about Adara Richmond was the location and that's about it. I wouldn't stay again.

The room was spacious and clean and was well within walking distance if restaurants as well as tram access in and out of the city at a really affordable price.

The Adara Richmond offered exceptional rooms, along with friendly staff, smart reception, satisfactory levels of cleanliness and a fitness center. The room is at a high standard, which is spacious, however cleanliness is an issue. The facilities inside the guestroom exhibits a decent quality.

This hotel is in the perfect location - right across the road from Epworth hospital, a ten minute walk from Corner Hotel and the main pub strip, and a lovely 45 minute stroll through several public park areas to get to the CBD.

The staff are so friendly and always happy to help. While the reception does have opening hours, you can still access the hotel with your key card after hours, and express checkout is available if you've already paid.

The rooms are spacious and clean, furnished in a modern style, with lights above everywhere you'd need them and power points everywhere you'd want them (yes, you can charge your phone and still use it whether you're chilling on the couch or in bed). The balcony is a good size, with a high enough outer wall that you can relax without being seen from the street.

If I'm in the area, I stay at the Adara, and I always recommend it to my friends when they're in the area.
