Came into buy everything I needed for my son’s new toddler bed. The staff were so lovely and very very helpful! I’ll be happy to shop here again

Came in to swap color of sheets and I’m very indecisive! Jenny was helping us out and she was just so lovely and helpful and patient! And was greated Kindly by the staff when coming in!

I love Adairs but this would have to be the worst store in Melbourne. You have to flag staff down to even be served and they wouldn't sell me a chair because it was "on display". Isn't everything there on display?

Possibly the biggest Adairs store I have seen in Melbourne so far. The staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to help you. Very good collection of items.

Today was the first time I visited this store. The customer service lady with blonde bob shoulder length hair was very rude from the minute I walked in. I’ll never shop at this store again.

Was astounded at the poor service and lack of empathy that we have experienced earlier today when making contacting with this store.

After explaining to the person on the phone that my father is currently battling Stage 4 cancer and that the person purchasing the underlay couldn’t pick up the items in question (as they needed to stay with my father) but wanted another family member to pick the items up on their behalf my 75 year old mother was advised this was not possible regardless of the circumstances.

I appreciate that processed need to be in place for security but when the person purchasing the item advised of the dire situation we face as a family, offered to confirm the vehicle registration, name, date of birth and address of the person picking the item up only to be shut down astounds me.

Surely at a time like this empathy and understanding is not too much to ask for.

Extremely disappointing and won’t be returning.

One of the Managers who works here, i wont name, is the rudest manager, i have ever come across. Clearly she doesn't think that being "nice and helpful" is part of her job description. You are in customer service, maybe act like it or get a job licking stamps.

Do not recommend this store at all
I will never shop there again.
I wanted to spend a lot of money and have previoslouly done so. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable for no reason

I placed an Online order for 1 x Large Grey Lindemann Basket during the Adairs 40% off sale on the 4th April 2019. I received my order a few days later however I received the Small Lindemann Basket instead of the Large. (My order confirmation stated that I had ordered the Large). I returned the small basket to Adairs in Moorabbin to exchange for the Large. The Customer Service Rep advised me my receipt stated that I had ordered and paid for the Small basket. After showing her my order confirmation which states LARGE I was basically told there was nothing they could do and if I wanted the large basket, I had to pay the difference. Poor Customer Service Adairs! I placed an order online for the convenience of not having to go to the shops. I expect to receive what I ordered. Understand system errors do occur however the Customer should not be inconvenienced & made to pay for your system errors.

This is my local store.
I ordered an item in early October which came with 2.5 months of delivery/faulty item issues. To cut a long story short, the store manager was rude and very unhelpful in this situation. I went in recently to get sheets and the store manager was again rude and uninviting. Im so disappointed with the customer service in this store, especially from the leader.
BUT on a positive note, back in September a sales assistant named Vanessa was just lovely, helpful and so approachable. Perhaps headoffice should make Vanessa the Moorabbin store Manager, just a thought.

Love Adair’s however we won’t be ruturning to this one. Im not one to write reviews but we want to let the manager of the store know how rude she was along with next to no customer service skills. Won’t be purchasing from your store again.

Really disappointed with my experience here this afternoon. The shop assistant was extremely rude to my young toddler. We walked in the store and my daughter ran up to her and tried to talk to her behind the counter and she pushed her away and told her off. It is an open counter area, and other then enter what would be an invisible line to my toddler, she did nothing wrong.a smile and politely asking my daughter to step away would have been fine. I wanted to leave, but desperately wanted to check out some cushions, so we proceeded over to the cushions when my daughter decided to run back to the awful lady and jumped up on a chair next to her, I completely understand this is not okay on my daughters, or my behalf but as I was running over to gently put my daughter back on solid grown and explain this is not ok, the shop lady grabbed her and forced her down and told her off, really harshly. It was so hard to see. My daughter, for some god only knows reason, was drawn to this lady and was happy to be near her and she was disgraceful. I am all for not allowing kids to over step their mark and be put back in their place in a firm, and polite manner.but this lady told her off like she had actually done something very very naughty. Not sure of the wicked witch of the shops' name was, but she had red frizzy hair and was older.

Appalling customer service. I visited the store on boxing day and bought several items, among them, 4 ceramic dishes and 2 ceramic cups. The dishes and cups were quiet heavy, and they were packed in a paper bag. While walking from my car to my home, the paper bag tore right open at the seams underneath from one end to the other, and all the dishes in the bag fell out and broke. I immediately called the store and explained what had happened. They said to come in and that they would exchange the items. I went in the following day and saw the Manger, Jo, who completely dismissed me when I tried to explain what had happened saying "I know about it". I felt as if she was blaming me for what had happened as she said she had never had this issue before. She also asked me if I had dropped the bag! I took the bag in to show her that it had completely broken at the bottom from the seams, so she could see that the bag was ripped apart, but she still asked me if I had dropped the bag. When I said that the bag had torn while I was holding it, she completely dismissed me and started doing something else, without hearing what I had to say. Then to top it all off, she tried to refund me the incorrect amount. She said each dish was $4 each, and the refund was $13 for 4 dishes. She put it all up on the computer, and I asked her twice before she decided to calculate the refund again and realised she was wrong. Its not hard to listen to what a customer has to say, its not hard to be polite and helpful, and its not hard to process a refund correctly, especially when it is your job to do these things, and especially when you are the manager. You are meant to be setting an example for the rest of your staff, but instead I found you rude, dismissive and incompetent at your job. None of this was my fault. I was very surprised by your attitude towards me. I advise people to visit the Southland store or Richmond store where staff are much more friendly and helpful.
