Adairs Frankston reviews
13When I walked in, I was greeted by a delightful staff member who complimented my dress and handbag. And offered to help. It felt very genuine and made my day. Thanks. I'm sorry I missed your name.
Extremely bad customer service. The worst I’ve experienced at any Adairs store, it’s clear the retail workers at this store judge people on how they look and then deliver service based on this.
Overall very disappointing.
Excellent customer service. Adairs Frankston Homestore is large and has everything from bedding to home decor.
What a great experience. Called the store and got the lovely Leanne. I was trying to track down a print and was happy to find they had one. I raced down there. I went to another store in the previous days and couldn’t find some items I was after. I told Leanne she went out if her way to find them or very similar, getting me prices and going beyond. These days the service is just not there but Leanne, obviously having lots of experience was amazing. Your a credit to the company thanks again
Actually so rude it’s not funny… the culture there seems so toxic I’ll just simply never go back… the staff were so rude they held their hand up to my mum and told her to wait while two staff members chatted amongst themselves. They then proceeded to tell my mum she couldn’t purchase something because they were too lazy to remove it from a display and told her to order it online… I sat there and watched the whole situation unfold and told my mum to walk away without purchasing as this was simply disgusting customer service. My mum loves your products and to see her uncomfortable and disappointed she couldn’t enjoy the same things other customers were being provided (display beds were being stripped before our eyes for other clients) was extremely disappointing.
I received amazing customer service by the area manager. She helped me choose everything for my son's room when I was completely unsure of where to start. Thank you so much
Adairs Frankston (and I’m assuming all Adairs carry the same stock) is a mid range store in quality. It applies the rule of over display such as more is more rather than less is more.
The staff are arrogant particularly those who are elders and should know what is good customer service. Like a previous review I read, I was judged by my appearance, not by the size of my wallet. The item I wanted to purchase was not available in store (that in itself is fine) but when I said I would pick up there was some disclaimer of OH&S used that prohibited me and husband from attending the warehouse. What a load ofCr*p As we are not employees. The aged attendant obviously was not aware of the on line
Adairs head office policy on this. And tried to fob us off or pay additional $80.00 for delivery costs. I also noticed that there was extreme use of on selling/attaching additional/marketing moe onto your purchases. Perhaps these women work on some sort of spiff/incentive on selling practice.
All in all, I prefer Spot light for similar items that are a lot more cost effective.
Seriously all this stuff mostly comes from China anyway
RUDE RUDE RUDE older blonde lady helping serve me today. My first in store experience and I’ve left extremely upset to the point of tears. She belittled me and was passive aggressive all over being given the wrong information. Horrible experience, flashbacks to pretty woman when she was told to leave a high end store. Will never be back!
The “Phone and collect” process during Lockdown was arduous and despite the staff agreeing, they ended up not giving me my sisters items after driving half an hr to the store that had all the items (more phone calls due to incorrect listing on website) despite a copy of the receipt, message asking me to get it and even her license and Linen Lovers Card! I even said I would re pay for the items if they were refunded to her but this couldn’t be done for at least a few hours they said and onto her card… extremely unprofessional and old fashioned.
Extremely poor customer service, rude and unfriendly.
Planned on ordering more items from this Adair’s on click and collect but felt unwelcome as the first order I placed already felt like I was hassling the worker from the first point of contact (phone call). Will never attend this Adair's again!
Some good discounts, but some components of ranges not in stock, and very slow check-out, apparently due to computer system problems.
Love the layout of this store and all products. The letdown are the ladies that work there. I’ve been to this store many of times and never has someone come up to me to ask me if I need a hand or just a simple hello. Service is everything and this store just doesn’t have it.
What a fabulous shop I went in for one thing and came out with a few others, staff know there product and your needs
