8 ACMI stages many great movies covering a wide programme for a broad audience. Many are eclectic films well worth exploring, all delivered in state of the art cinemas.
Just saw 'Living' starring the talented Bill Nighy, a re-telling of Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece. (Also screening) A poignantly moving performance
I came here, and i will come back, as many others will, and have done. Go up the steps when you come from the Fed square (public square)
I always enjoy going to ACMI to watch Movies there. A good selection of foreign Movies and good Movies from MGM etc
We always see such meaningful movies at the matinees for seniors. Perfect location in the heart of the city, a short hop over Swanston Street from Flinders Street Station to Gederation Square.
We came here to watch episode 1 prequel to Game of Thrones, House of The Dragon. Quite a big cinema with lots of seats, good sound system and big screen. It's definitely a good cinema to watch movies.
