In todays predicament of the pandemic, I’m of the opinion that people have separate into thinking in emotions or logic. Went into the store to buy some beers as this place has a great selection. Was greeted halfway in the building with do you have a mask. I reply “ no I have asthma” and showed the the fella my SYNBICORT RAPIHALER 200/6. He told me I had to be served at the front. I arks is this the governments mark mandate. As having (COPD) is exempt. Was told the boss has his own rules. I told the fella that having a breathing obstruction is exempt under the mask mandate. They just shrugged there shoulders. Was served at the front doors in the end. The staff are nice and seem like they are in a predicament. To the boss that made this rule. Thanks for making me a second class citizen. I didn’t choose to have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. But you choose to treat me as a inferior for having it. I’m not mad. Just disappointed.

Wouldn't even give a 1 star customers and staff are Karen's! Will never shop there again. Alcohol is over priced and warm!

I will not go here again. I entered to buy a bottle of white wine for a friends birthday. I was with a friend who owns a service dog, i had my own very small dog in a carry bag. Before i could barely enter was confronted by the manager here interrogating my friend with the service dog and was told i could not enter (despite my dog being inside a bag! Also despite this worker knowing my friend and his service dog, he seemingly has been rude on more than one occasion despite seeing the ID for the dog) I promptly went to the prince wine room and spent my $50 on a lovely chardonnay where my friend his service dog and my dog all entered and was treated with respect.

I used to come here when I visited Melbourne for work, but after moving down I wanted to try other independent bottle shops. I finally came back, and it felt like coming home. The range is great, the prices are competitive, and the service is tremendous. I haven't had better, more down-to-earth conversations about beer anywhere in Victoria. Can't wait to come back!

This beer was advertised online that I couldn't buy from my local store that I was hoping to get my dad for his birthday. After ordering I am informed that it is not in stock, but back in two weeks. A month or so later after no communication with the seller I am opening a dispute with PayPal to try and resolve the problem and get my money back. No communication at all. Just what I didn't need in trying to buy a birthday present. A very f###n late one.

Pretty poor online customer service. Asked them specifically about an out-of-stock beer, and even followed up with them.

AS SOON AS they emailed me about stock, I followed up with an email all but saying "I'll take one", and I get an email back 20 minutes later saying it's out of stock. Would have thought getting enough stock - or holding a slab for someone who asked about it TWICE and emailed straight away about intent to purchase - would be logical, but I haven't worked in retail for years, so what would I know? Incredibly disappointing.

Great shop, and awesone range of beer and wine with friendly and knowledgeable staff have been coming here for the last 6 yrs living in St kilda.

The staff have always been amazing, but that has changed recently with a particularly rude and abrupt lady joining the team. Shame to ruin what was such a friendly atmosphere.

Have been here on and off since the 90's and have always found what I was looking for a reasonable price. Staff have been friendly on my visits.

Went in to buy a bottle of wine after work with a friend, I asked the woman serving us if she had plastic cups, as we were going to the outdoor cinema at Luna Park. She proceeded to correct the way I spoke and told me my grammar was incorrect. I found this highly offensive as I am not from here I left really upset and have swore never to return! It is not her job to correct people and the way they speak it is rude she is there to serve the customer and be friendly that's it if I went around all day correcting people I would get a slap, and I didn't tell her she needs her roots done or she should wash her hair even though I thought it! People need to shut up and do their job. Anyway won't be back ruined my evening
