Tom is an amazing and encouraging teacher who believes in all his students and makes such a huge difference. He will tailor make his classes to exactly what each student needs and helps build people up and work towards all their goals! Not just a teacher but a friend, a support, and cheerleader as well!

I am currently taking English lessons from Tom using the Callan Method. During the lessons, you will concentrate completely on speaking the English you have been speaking vaguely with correct pronunciation and grammar, and at a good tempo. Tom understands the pronunciation that Japanese people have difficulty with, and gives accurate advice and corrections.
Once you learn correct pronunciation, your listening comprehension will naturally improve as well. I think I'm a little more sensitive to noise than before.
Recommended for those who want to learn correct pronunciation and improve their listening and speaking skills!

I was preparing for the PTE exam a while ago. I was worried because my speaking score was too low, and my wife, who was taking Tom's class, recommended me to take his class. After taking his class, my speaking score went up amazingly, and I was able to find my underlying speaking problem, so I was able to pass the exam this time. If you have trouble with pronunciation or fluency like me, be sure to seek help from Tom. I highly recommend it.

I must say that Tom is a fantastic English teacher to learn from. He fixes my pronunciation when I speak using specific letters (ex. L, R, TH) that most Japanese people struggle with. He shows me immediately as I'm talking and explains exactly how to move my mouth. He also simplifies the ways to say difficult words (ex. DR=J, TR=CH). I need to practice more but I'm much more confident saying words aloud. He also coaches regarding job interviews. He points out which answers are suitable and which words should be emphasised etc. Without him I wouldn't have built up my confidence to the level it is today. Thank you Tom

I feel the way to speak English correctly is to learn how to use your face muscles. It is all about exercising your face muscles and tongue. It is not easy and quick. However, I feel great improvements with my English after taking these classes. I appreciate so much efforts from the teacher, Tom. After a few years trying different methods of learning English, I found the Callan method more efficient as it:
