13Went to this clinic for the FIRST time for urgent medical advice. Personable receptionist who explained the charges and Medicare rebate. Saw Dr Dunitha Jayasinghe. She was amazing. Very professional, efficient, caring and compassionate. She dealt with all my issues and recommended follow up if the condition persisted. She went over and above and took the time needed to answer any questions. Would highly recommend her and will be coming to this clinic again for medical advice and care.
Always a great experience when I need to visit. Doctor sealey is fantastic and the reception staff in particular Rosemary is lovely and is always happy to help.
I have my Gp referred me Karen Cowling who is mental heath social worker. First phone session is ok. Second phone session only 15 minutes, but it made me so uncomfortable when she asked my income, job title, health care card. I didnt feel her questions are related to help solve with health problem. I didnt feel supportive except her judgemental and lack of empathy. She kept going to mention that the service is only for very poor people.
Very rude staff. Called to book an appointment and mentioned that I have private insurance. They replied "then you better find someplace with bulk billing". Nothing else. I said Okay. And they hung up. Never made ith there though so can't tell how the rest of the service is.
All staff. Reception, Nurses and Doctors and physio vey supportive of my mother and our family.
The receptionists were really great and they're very well prepped in terms of sanitation. I was in here on Wednesday and after being very clear on the prescription I was after, and the Dr agreeing, I walked out with the wrong script (the one I consistently refused to get throughout the whole service, without realising it was wrong) and was then forced to purchase the prescription which works out to be 3 times the price and more side effects for the next four months: (
At least the receptionists could be nicer. Idk but somehow I feel like I owe them some money ️
If you want a rude and unprofessional Dr who doesn't care about you but rather your money, see Dr Colin Milton. At the end of the useless consultation, he pushes forward a paper for me to sign and tried to subtly covers a piece of text that says a price. Unsure what it the whole paper I'm signing is, I try to read it. Frustrated by my question of what the paper was and for a copy of it, storms out of the room, and comes back with the intention to make me cough out money.extremely pathetic from a doctor
At least the receptionists are extremely nice and professional from start to finish.
Just went here today for the first time, new patient. Great experience from the time I called to make the appointment (I think It was Roslyn - she was lovely?) all the way to seeing the doctor (Dr Eric Foong - he was great) and paying (rebate handled by them on the stop and explained to me without even asking). I felt like all my concerns were dealt with and Dr Foong was very thorough empathetic and encouraged and suggested further action that I had no thought of. Thank you all!
I went to ACCESS Health, today, for the first time. I was profoundly impressed with service delivery from start (when making an appointment by phone) to presenting at reception, through to seeing Dr Jenny. All staff were so professional, I didn’t feel like a number and Dr Jenny showed extraordinary compassion and was thorough and engaging and generous with her time. How lucky we are to have a Community Health Service like this,
Max
I've been going here for 1 year and tried 3 different doctors. None were good. All lacked empathy, one continued to give me the wrong script and the other almost slammed the door after I left. There is something seriously wrong with the recruitment process, all the doctors seems unhappy, impersonal, grumpy and difficult/cold to deal with. I will not be returning. I always leave feeling really uncomfortable.
Saw for the first time Dr Ling Zheng for a chronic pain that I have for years. I used to go for a Physio care plan as recommended by my previous doctor; however Dr Zheng wouldn't put me on a care plan as she deems me ineligible despite my history and the pain that I'd been having. Her reason: only chronic illnesses are eligible such as diabetes.
I don't find her competent. She's forgetting that there is such thing as chronic pain and that the definition from the government's website (https://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/services/medicare/chronic-disease-management-plan#a1) indicates that more than 6 month condition would be eligible.
Dr Zheng instead asked me about pap smear. That is probably her specialty.
Avoid her at all costs!
