Don't go here, there are doctors here that are so bad they will traumatise you. There might be good ones too but it's not worth the risk. I don't normally do reviews but I just feel like I need to warn people against this place.

I rang for an appointment. Receptionist promised to call me back, never did. Don't worry though, it wasn't very important, just cancer screening.

I called the Access Health and Community clinic today, and unfortunately found the receptionist phone call to be uncomfortable, and intimidating.

I am very appreciative for this wonderful service, and for the person trying to help me, although, the receptionist came across very rude. There were no professional manners.

Thank You.

The worst gp, rude and unqualified! Left me feeling hopeless and more suicidal than ever! Would not recomend! Completely incapable of doing her job and should really not be recognise as a gp! Ling zeng - if I could put - star I would!

Genuinely the worst GP experience I've had. Without going into in depth detail, the GP Ling Zheng told me 'if you overdose it is your own fault', to say this to someone regardless of their state of mental health is beyond reprehensible in whatever situation. I warn anyone considering to book with this woman, THE WORST experience I have ever had with a GP, if 0 stars was an option I would be giving that.

This so-called health clinic deserves zero stars. For starters, let’s talk about a MAJOR violation of privacy—I had been emailing back-and-forth with the clinic reception, and after I sent them my new patient paperwork, they tried calling me to schedule an appointment. For whatever reason, they couldn’t reach my at my phone number, so rather than simply just responding to my email saying “please call us to schedule, ” they decided to call my emergency contact and leave a detailed voice message instructing them to let me know I needed to call to schedule an appointment. Not only was this unnecessary (they could have just emailed me back) and a massive violation of privacy, it was also highly embarrassing for me to have had my poor flatmate, whom I hadn’t know for very long and had assumed would only be contacted in the event of an emergency, be delivering messages to me about my private health care.

I should have never trusted them after that, but I was new to the area and didn’t know of any other clinics nearby. So I continued with the appointment, and not only was the doctor more than an hour late for the appointment, she was also a complete idiot. I never should have trusted her with my health care, I don’t know if she’s forgetful or just doesn’t care about her job or what, but it was a disastrous interaction culminating in me not being able to get the prescriptions I needed because they refused to send them electronically to the pharmacy and I was unable to pick them up in person (cause, ya know, pandemic?).

Save yourself time, money, and stress and go to another clinic that actually cares about your health, values your privacy, and is smart enough to adapt to public health and safety measures in the middle of a pandemic.

The only reason I am rating this a three is because I still want to believe that this is a good place to go. Honestly the receptionists used to be good but now they're all rude. I want the old receptionists back. Especially that older Greek women, she was a great receptionist; always made conversation, made you feel welcomed and if she was too busy to talk she would still have a smile on her face and tell them "one minute sorry I'll get back to you, just need to finish these. "

Now we have receptionists hanging up the phones because they can't "hear you" so unprofessional. It wasn't "I can't hear you, can you please go some place more quite" it was "I Can't hear you, I'm not DOING THIS CALL" And straight away this other receptionist had hung up.

Dr Lul. Agh don't get me started. Looked at the reviews on here today and I thought he had learned from someone else saying exactly what I am about to say only she wrote the review a year ago. That is that he asks too many personal questions. Non of which relate to what I've told him is going on with me medically. "Who's house is it" "where do you work" "is your mum single" "who's her partner" just STOP. Be professional please.

Dr Chris. I honestly like Dr Chris untill he did an online test to determine weather or not I may be diagnosed with something. That is NOT a diagnosis, I do not see why he can't just find me a good psychiatrist so that I can get a professional diagnosis. Apart from that he's been great.

This used to be a really good clinic years ago under a different name, but now it's really a pain not to be able to phone a specific clinic and have to listen to lots of useless information before being able to make an appointment with someone who does not work at a clinic. Also, the closing time is too early.

Had a 2.30pm appointment and by 3.10 hadn’t been seen. Not ideal really. Good doctors but massive overbookings

I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Caroline Wilson - Podiatrist! She is amazing, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Thank you Caroline for giving me the gift of pain free walking.

The doctors that I have seen have been nice. They offer a number of services in the one building. The building itself is a little dated but doesn’t reflect on the services/facilities. They no longer offer bulk billing as of early 2018. Overall a pretty good local Medical Centre.

I have been going here for many years, the majority of the doctors are thorough, ask the right questions and genuinely show care that they want to help.

I only left 4 stars due to the clinic recently changing to charge customers who are not on government benefits. I personally don't see how it is fair, that those of us whom work and pay taxes now have to pay, but those on government benefits, paid for by our taxes do not.

Due to the recent change of billing I will be considering other services.

I have been going to this centre for about 20 years. Most of the doctors are great. They allow the time needed to treat you properly. Sometimes this results in long waiting times, but I think its a positive as you always feel you've been given the attention you need. They will squeeze you in when you need an urgent appointment, and follow up to make sure your health has improved.
This is a fantastic community health centre which offers a great service.

I said I would give this doctor another chance and I should have listened to my instincts.
Dr. Anil Lal you are seriously rude and creepy.
You ask questions that dont need to be asked. What gym do you go to? Who is your PT? Like really. I know what needs to be asked and in the end I just had to walk out because I felt so Soooo uncomfortable.
I recommend not to see him!
Thanks for nothing.

Both my daughter and I have had bad experiences with the reception staff in Richmond (Yarra Health Services). They can be abrupt, abrasive and down right rude. If you don't like dealing with members of the public then get a job that doesn't have this as a basic requirement! If it wasn't for the fantastic GPs I would not go to this medical centre.

I've been going to this clinic for a year and a half but only because I was local, I never felt like they really cared about my situation every time i seeked help only that I was just another "bulk bill patient"

I was hesitant about this centre because of the other reviews, but I had quite a good experience. My doctor was very considerate and patient with me, and it's a bonus that they also offer bulk billing upfront.

Very rude receptionist, told to be on time as the doctor runs to schedule but then let's late patients in front.

Rubbish.

The reception can't make bookings, the doctors don't provide sufficent treatment, and are slipshod in their manner. All around terrible experience. Avoid.
