As someone who spends quite some time working on cars, I am often in need of replacing ruined nuts and bolts of various thread types and sizes.
Recently, I came across a thread type which seemed practically non existent at most popular stores such as Bunnings, Repco and Supercheap. As a result, I decided to give Access a go.
After a brief wait, a helpful gentleman at the front desk was able to source the correct nut immediately.
This is the second time I've been to Access Fasteners and I definitely will be coming back when I need to. Wouldn't look any further for any fastener needs.

Customer service is so slow, very unprofessional. Waited 50 minutes to be served and I was second in line. Didn’t even get an apology for waiting. Just rude.grumpy old men huffing and puffing around. After being served I saw 4 worker outside taking a break.good luck to the 2 customers that were waiting behind me. So disappointed.

I have been a customer of Access Fasteners since the day they opened. Paul and the crew have a huge product list and there knowledge is great. Highly recommended and friendly team.

As a carpenter i’ve never had better service. The staff members that I’ve delt with so far are knowledgeable, fill in the blanks if I don’t quite know what I’m after and have been as friendly and prompt as you’d ever need.
They also offer a range of screws which although much of a muchness at Bunnings, mitre 10 etc have some real advantages which have made my life a lot easy on site. These have been they 50mm stainless steel decking screw and the batten screws.
For those that care - the decking screw, although at a quick glance looks the same as every other garden variety one has a few cool features. Most notable twice as much thread so obvious reason pulls in a dream and also has a slightly heavier gauge throat and head which means less breaking. I’ve found it a solid switch and would recommend you do the same. And also a lot cheaper to buy from here.
The batten screw is noticeably different in its head shape and although sceptical at first it’s been awesome to use! You’ll see what I mean when you have a look; but essentially the end result is less burring around the head and pulls in much easier compared to a standard batten screw because of the design.

Long review I know, but in short; worth giving the office a call and sussing what they’re about. All my fixings will now be coming out of here from now on.
