This is a fantastic gym and PT service. I am in my 60s, and never tried personal training before. I thought this gym would be too demanding for me, but signed up during Covid. My gym genius, Steve, gradually built up my strength, which got me completing the Mont Blanc circuit last year, even keeping up with my very fit daughter. That would have been impossible without the conditioning at Absolute. All the staff are professional, friendly, educated, and know their stuff. The workouts are well planned, personalised, and varied. I always leave feeling I’ve had a real workout, but wanting to come back too. As Steve says, it is supposed to be hard, but makes everything outside the gym easier. Strongly recommend!

Since coming here I have developed a much more rounded and sustainable build. Steve is terrific and is helping me consistently achieve PBs across multiple exercises. Highly recommend!

Wonderful gym, which specialises in PT or personalised workouts / programs. Everyone at the gym is great and very knowledgeable. The gym has a fantastic range of equipment given the size, and is never too busy where you are fighting for a spot on the floor / for equipment. If you’ve got a specific goal or need (injuries / rehab, etc.) this is also the place for you. Highly recommend!

Training with Dave in the offseason was an absolute dream. I came into Absolute Health with a finicky nerve injury, struggling to transition from rehabilitation back to full training. With the help of Joel and Dave I have now completed a 10 week strength program pain free and I am feeling stronger than I've ever been.

Dave and Joel have helped me immensely, first and foremost with the actual training but they also made sure I was learning throughout the process, ensuring I left with tools to help myself in the future. They both worked collaboratively with my football club's physio and high performance staff which has allowed me to rejoin in with my team's preseason and finally leave the rehab squad behind.

A group of well credentialed passionate practitioners I’ve not come across previously for health and fitness.
I’m keen on exercise but with little knowledge of it overall.
AHP continue to help me with my goals.

About 5 years ago, my doctor advised me to do weight bearing exercises to prevent my bone density from reducing further.
I joined Absolute and have been under the instruction of Steve Hissey ever since. Since then my muscle tone and strength has improved enormously. From barely being able to manage 3 push ups to now doing 50 push ups regularly, I feel much stronger, strain far less muscles playing tennis and feel much healthier. Steve has managed this process every step of the way.
Following brain surgery last year and the subsequent loss of weight and muscle strength, Steve has helped me recover well and rebuild my strength. His technical expertise and management of my recovery have been gratefully appreciated.
I always enjoy my sessions with Steve. He is personable and we have developed a valuable friendship.
I have no hesitation in recommending Steve and all the team at Absolute.

I train with Blayne twice a week. This year my goal has been to improve my cycling. Blayne has designed a program specifically for building functional strength and endurance. The benefits have been enormous. I feel great on my bicycle, and can't recommend Blayne and team at Absolute Health and Performance highly enough.

My partner and I have been training with Blayne at Absolute Health and Performance for more than a year now. The programming suits us both, and we are really happy with the results we're attaining. We're constantly impressed by Blayne's knowledge and skills, and thoroughly enjoy training with him! He accommodates our schedule, even if it means training just the one of us. Highly recommended for any couple.

I commenced training with Absolute in December 2021 and have enjoyed my progression throughout 2022.

Adam is a highly knowledgeable and experienced performance coach.

Adam delivers performance based, strength and conditioning sessions, designed to make me fitter and stronger.

Adam’s programs are challenging, enjoyable and tailored to my requirements. I regularly learn new exercises and improve technique.

My most recent goal was completing the 254 kilometre Larapinta Trail, West MacDonnell Ranges National Park, Alice Springs in June 2022 over 16 days.

I highly recommend Adam and the Absolute team.

I first visited Absolute in 2019, seeking some direction in my conditioning alongside a busy professional career, and am still training there three years later. I've built great relationships with a number of the trainers, who are extremely well-qualified and come from a range of leading sport science and strength and conditioning backgrounds. I've always been able to tailor my training programs to account for seasonal periods or sport-specific applications with ease. I've trained at Absolute in both solo and small group sessions. Most importantly, I've been able to regain (and maintain) a high level of conditioning, and avoid injury. For me personally, it's definitely been a game-changer.

Reception staff are always friendly and Dr Braun is always supportive and wanting to achieve the best outcome and success with my injuries.

I have been training with Absolute Health & Performance for about 5 years now. When I first walked into the doors I wanted to address the constant soft tissue injuries I was suffering. Over time I built up my strength and power and have not suffered a soft tissue injury in a long time.

Recently I was diagnosed with a shoulder injury. Adam has tailored my program to accommodate the injury which has seen the symptoms subside and feeling better than it has in a long time.

A massive thanks to the team at Absolute for their help and support over the years. I recommend them to anyone looking to improve their health.

I have been training at Absolute Health and Performance for over 6 years.
The team at Absolute develops programs specifically focused on my body and my goals.
They guide me to exercise in a way that is safe but maximises outcomes. If I do have a niggle, they always have something different for me to do to drive my strength and fitness forward.
The coaching and allied health staff are of an extremely high standard.
I have been delighted with the results that I have achieved, having attained several lifetime personal bests at the age of 60 (including 125kg deadlift and 235kg hip thrust).
If you want to build your strength as you age, I cannot recommend Absolute Health and Performance highly enough.

I've always taken the view that consistent strength and conditioning training is a long term investment in both my mental and physical health, so I commit to training 3 times a week with the Absolute team.

Since joining Absolute back in 2020, I have been impressed with the way my programs are aligned with my motivators - they allow me to continually improve technique, increase strength and strive for those PB's along the way.

The highly skilled team of performance coaches and health professionals are incredible to work with and are always on hand to help answer your questions or offer assistance/support when you need.

One of the physiotherapists, Joel Laing, was exceptional. He helped me treat and self-manage a chronic neck/back issue and went above and beyond what was expected, sending me articles, links and resources even when I didn't have an appointment. Could not recommend him more!

Absolute Health and Performance partnered with me following knee reconstruction surgery to initially assist my recovery. They have since coached me to full physical functionality. Having just returned from four days skiing for the first time since surgery, not only did I have a wonderful time, I had absolutely no pain and felt physically confident. Every member of staff at Absolute Health & Performance are professionals who are knowledgeable, dedicated and encouraging, a perfect combination for success! Thank you so much.
