“Stop blocking the comments section on YouTube! ”

I don’t really care about what each news channel reports about.

But I have one issue that really bugs me.

And I would like to see this changed for all news channels posting content on YouTube.

Stop blocking the comments section on your YouTube videos!

It falls back to freedom of speech. To allow your viewers a chance to discuss and debate the news you have put forward. It keeps us all informed and it should be allowed.

Disabling these comments is a form of censorship reserved for communist media outlets… wouldn’t you say?

This essentially says to me and other viewers that you don’t want anyone to discuss what you are putting forward because it is flawed and biased.

However, If you are so confident in your reporting. You shouldn’t have to worry about the comments people make on your videos.

You should stand by your content and invite debate. I am more inclined to watch news where I can see that discussion is allowed.

Even if the comments are hateful do not cave to censorship.

Myself and other viewers are smart enough to make up our own minds.

Removing this valuable form of discussion just puts a red flag up for me every-time I watch one of your videos.

Please reconsider allowing discussion and debate on your YouTube videos.

I visited the live studio of ABC Q&A, I have never been in a live audience and I found the experience fun and informative.

Great place and well maintained. Went here as a live audience for a show recording and was impressed with their setup and management.

Visited here with with a school group awhile back, absolutely massive building, with a very modern atmosphere

Visited here as part of open house Melbourne and I can't express how friendly and engaging everyone was. It's easy to see how this would be a great happy place to work.

I have nothing to compare it too… but staff were friendly. Security pleasant. Nice and clean…

QA audience member. They need to lose the guy jollying the audience to ensure we clapped loudly and frequently. So, inauthentic. Spontaneous responses from audience more honest. I was surprised the ABC was in to that sort of 'forced' audience behaviour. Audience members treated like children. Won't repeat that experience.

It’s either Ologies with Alie Ward or The Conversation Hour with Richelle Hunt on long drives, and I’ve really started to notice how ordinary of a host Richelle is. Does she not done any research into the topic she is chatting about? She does keep it light hearted, and have some okay questions but most other guest hosts seem to be asking the real questions and are more open minded than Richelle. I mean a podcast about heritage listing old miners houses but needing callers to mention that we’re all on indigenous lands and about the heritage that involves. I know it’s only an hour but cutting off callers with perhaps the best points and questions makes Richelle look like she just loves the sound of her own voice, not to mention seeming quite biased. I’d be looking for a new host ABC

Iwaki theatre is compact, but nice. Sound quality with Orchestra performances are really good for it's size. Staff is always very professional and courteous!

The Victoria Welsh Choir just cut a CD with the ABC at the Iwaki Auditorium. Wonderful place to record in and terrific support from the sound and production team

Imagine the People's broadcaster moving from being amongst the people in the suburbs to an ivory tower in the city. Says pretty much everything about 'our' ABC.

A little office here but everyone's lovely and helpful. I was doing some work with them and soon they will relocate back into South Bank. I guess it is just the culture that they are nice to everyone!
