Took a couch cushion to see if they could match existing style and color due to damage. Rob and the team were amazing…. The end result is absolutely perfect, cannot tell the difference. Enabled me to replace one cushion vs the entire couch. Even the manufacturer would not provide the cushions separately. Highly recommended to Rob and the team. Thanks!

I got a custom built canvas canopy with screens and a back clear window made recently for the back of my new hilux ute and couldn’t be happier. Cutter is the best guy to deal with and such a nice bloke. Can’t go wrong with this company for quality and service at and affordable price.

Booked the Ute in for a new canvas canopy about 3-4 weeks back, and since my first point of contact to the end, these guys were quick to communicate everything with me, the product is really well finished and feels to be of great quality!

These guys are the best in Melbourne - if you want quality that will last look no further. Also unbelievable service. I rang on Wednesday and they agreed to rush a job through for me covering my hilux XL tray, I brought the ute in on Friday expecting to wait a week or so the guy said come back later that same day! And an awesome job done - gets compliments everywhere I go like “that’s a smart looking canopy” love these guys!

Turned up on the day at 7.45,8.00 the guy started on the job. Was out the door by 11.30. Full custom slim tonneau cover fitted to my hilux and a amazing job was done, great quality workmanship.

Could not be happier with my canvas canopy from A grade. Rob and the team provide excellent service and the quality of their work is outstanding, they have thought of every detail. Having used it in the city and out camping for 3 months I can’t think of any improvements, I doubt anyone else in Australia could do a better job of it. Don’t think twice about working with them.

The team fit my Hilux with a canvas canopy. The entire experience from the first phone call to picking it up after the job was so friendly and professional. Rob and Cutter and the team at A Grade Upholstery do an out standing job. On Monday morning I delivered my VW truck to them to have a canopy made.

The understanding was that they would have the truck for a week to do the job. Imagine my shock when, an hour later I was learning that if I didn't get on the road by midday the following day, I wouldn't get home to Bega, NSW, because the government was about to close the state border.

I called the boys immediately to tell them they’d need to stop work because I was going to have to leave too soon. Within 15 minutes I’d had a call back from Cutter to tell me they would get the job done by 9 am the following day and have me safely on the road.

I'm sure the boys worked well into the night to get it done, but I am absolutely blown away by the quality of the job and the commitment these boys were able to make to me. I would happily recommend A Grade Upholstery to anyone, thanks again boys for your fantastic work

They were fabulous. I got there 20 mins before they opened and they very kindly let me leave car early. Great job done and it was ready to collect at the time they said it would be. Thanks Rob and team.

I was left *very* dissatisfied with the customer service provided. After specifically enquiring, A-Grade Upholstery promised they would *not* remove my baby seat to get the job done (which was professionally-fitted), but they did so anyway and never rang to tell me, nor even bothered to refit it (I was later informed they just forgot to sneakily refit it without telling me), so when I found out after I got home it had been uninstalled and just left in the back seat, they refused to contribute towards the $40 to get it professionally fitted (notwithstanding the *major* inconvenience this created for me suddenly having to find time to get this now attended to). I have been left days without being able to take my baby anywhere as planned – can’t even begin to say how angry I am about this. The owner even suggested the ‘qualified installers’ are probably bogus professionals anyway, and that he would just refit it for me. A-Grade Upholstery lied to me to secure my job. I did not agree to go ahead with them on the premise of them uninstalling the baby seat. I cannot run the risk of my child being in an unsecure seat that hasn’t been installed properly by unqualified guys who don’t care nor even had the decency to ‘cover up’ their tracks later, because really, if there’s a baby seat in the car, there’s clearly a child that needs to travel in it – it’s not just there for show. Stats confirm 70% of baby seats are not installed correctly. I can only get it fixed by qualified installers to be sure – like I had previously. But clearly, it’s “care factor ZERO” with these guys. And in the meantime, I’m out of pocket by $40 and a major inconvenience for me until I find time to get someone to babysit my child whilst I get the car fixed. Total and complete disaster. I found these guys to be dishonest. If I had been told the truth, I would have gone elsewhere to get the job done.
On a separate note, the lining job was completed satisfactorily.

I found A Grade upholstery via a web search, Rob was responsive and clear and concise, and easy to deal with, so I had Rob and his team fully upholster my Ski Boat, full restoration front to back - 9 seater, bow rider to ski locker - I am quite particular in the quality i expect. I am very impressed with their meticulous work, above and beyond, and easy to deal with, I highly recommend their work.
