From our very first email with Elaine, where we got to experience her warmth and enthusiasm, we knew she was the celebrant for us. That was confirmed during our meetings where her calm presence and kindness allowed us to feel excited for our wedding experience rather than stressed. Elaine gave us so much helpful information, communicated so well and helped us to tailor a ceremony that felt perfectly suited to us. We always felt secure that Elaine had all the important stuff totally under control, but even more valuable was how she seems to genuinely love her job. Her passion and encouragement helped us connect with our feelings and sentiments, resulting in a day that was beyond perfect.

What can I say! Elaine was by far the best we could have hoped for in terms of a wedding celebrant! Not only was she super professional and organised, she actually went above and beyond at every step of the way. She always made sure we were on track in the lead up as well as making us feel at ease going ahead with the ceremony (neither of us had any idea what we were doing!). She has a voice like velvet and a personality like no other, the personal touches she added have made her a life long friend. As a newly married couple, we highly recommend Elaine's services to anyone who is currently planning a wedding!

My (now) husband and I were just over a month out till our big day when we were told neither of our priests (interfaith marriage) would be able to legally marry us on the day of our wedding die to various reasons. We were in a real panic and started looking frantically for a celebrant. We had no idea what to look for but there was something about Elaine and he great reviews that caught our eye. We thought we’d give her a call. We had no idea what to ask or what to do, but Elaine guided us all the way. She was so easy to talk to and made us feel so comfortable right from the get go. She took the stress off us by handling all the paperwork and the finer details. We ended up deciding to get married in her beautiful home a week before our religious ceremonies and it was such a beautiful and intimate moment with just our parents and our 2 witnesses. We highly recommend Elaine. She will go above and beyond to ensure your day is a special one and has even helped me after that as I’ve had issues getting my marriage certificate. We had previous experience with Elaine doing my brother in-law and sister in-laws wedding. She was fantastic for their wedding and she was fantastic for ours. She came to us to help organise the ceremony and was open with our ideas, trying to incorporate them into our day. On the day the ceremony was great, Elaine helped keep us on track and it went as smoothly as it could with young kids being involved. But we wouldn't have it any other way.

That was our perfect day and I am glad we had chosen Elaine. She had helped us with the entire process, explained and taken care of everything, her place is very nice with some glamour touches. After the wedding we went to a near beach to take few photos and they will be #1 memories.

Whilst searching high and low for a celebrant one of our friends recommended A Certain Celebration. At our very first meeting Elaine's genuine patience, generous and warm nature made us 100% sure that, out of the multitude of celebrants we had spoken to, Elaine was the perfect one for us.

Over the coming weeks and months, Elaine guided us through the development of our ceremony, including the explanation of all the legal requirements, and provided inspiration for little touches to our ceremony that helped create memories that will last a lifetime. Throughout the process Elaine kept a warm, patient watch over our progress, like a gentle Shepherd leading two slightly befuddled sheep, she made sure that we got all our paperwork, vows and other bits and pieces in on time.

If you’re looking for a celebrant, both my partner and I highly recommend Elaine. Her patience, humour and creativity alleviated a lot of the stress we would have otherwise encountered (Including decorations for the ceremony, where Elaine made some beautiful flower arrangements and gave us free run of using them during ceremony), we feel Elaine went above and beyond in helping us out.

She also has a three legged cat which is pretty cool.

We were fortunate to have Elaine as our celebrant at our wedding in 2019. Her professionalism, kindness and attention to detail made our day incredibly fun.

The real benefit started months earlier. We had little idea how to structure our ceremony. Elaine's guidance in this regard was second to none. She gave us numerous ideas, was eager for input and was very accommodative.
