신신족발 (ShinShin Jokbal)

Tried both their Bossam (Korean pork belly) and Jokbal (Korean pork knuckle). Food is tasty and well presented. Restaurant is smallish so dining in wasn't particularly inviting so I had take away on both occasions.
Portions are huge (could not finish in one meal). Prices have gone up lately and I fully understand why. Service was fast.

Thanks to the very kind lady at the counter that reminded me the spicy jokbal is very spicy! I took my chances and tried it! It made me cry! But nonetheless it was very tasty!

Their garlic jokbal is even better than the one I had in Korea!

Great little korean food shop. The rice ball snd egg set is a must. Jokbal is yummy and the spicy sausage stew is one to try when you want something different from jokbal

Super authentic Korean pork hock place, small shop but the food here is as good as it can get for a pork hock specialize restaurant.

The soy garlic jokbal was our favourite. Everything, including the side dishes, was delicious. Highly recommend

While the restaurant is rather elegant, I did wish nuggets were provided - dino shaped in particular (however I am still happy with teddy bear nuggets). I love Korean cuisine, however, burgers and such are necessary for a business to operate. French fries and a whopper added to the menu (and a big mac if you are feeling generous) would be highly appreciated. On 9/10/2022, I ate at this restaurant. The prices were extremely good, however, due to the lack of burgers, nuggets and fries, we ordered food from the local Mac Donalds' and dined in ShinShin Jokbal. We only ordered the water, and I can confirm that the water tasted amazing. Would definitely go here for the water again.

Love the soy garlic jokbal, eaten here many times. Kimchi stew doesn't has as much pork belly as I thought. The steam eggs were alright but many people ordered it. The rice ball looks interesting. Very friendly service despite tight spaces, thoroughly enjoyed our meals here.

The food here is amazing. Some times it might take a week to get a table, sometimes you can get one on the night. This is the best Korean I have eaten. The atmosphere is perfect. The hustle and bustle of the kitchen adds to the atmosphere. For a change we ordered off the menu rather than BBQ. It was wonderful. You must try the food here. And if there isn't a table available you know why. But keep trying. We came on a Sunday night at 6pm and every table was full. That tells you something. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Great experience, i ordered the bossam set and jokbal set for take away. Had it for supper. Just amazing. What can I say. Authentic Korean pork melting in your mouth. Would definitely recommend. Best late night snack together with some beer and alcohol. Also recommend Soju and Cass beer. Make so Somaek and have jokbal and bossam. A worthy competition to Chimaek.

Delicious authentic jokbal at ShinShin. We had the spicy and original jokbal combo. Well marinated and very soft and tender. Sauce and sides provided. Called to order takeaway and was ready by the time we arrived. Very quick.

Delicious food, taste like homemade, and the staff super friendly, it was my first time there but I can't wait to come back and try more.

Reasonably priced Korean food. Food is very practical, and has many bento options. Good for simple meal
