90 Secondi reviews
60We were visiting Aus and were invited to go to a game of cricket in melbourne. Went for dinner before the game randomly to this restaurant close to the stadium and had probably one of the best italian food I have had in the last couple of years. If we come back to Melbourne we will definitely visit again
I recently visited at 90 Secondi, and I must say, their Italian cuisine left quite an impression. The Ortolana Pizza was full of freshness with its colorful mix of roasted veggies on a woodfired crispy crust. Every bite is truly delightful.
But the real star was the Chicken Risotto. The tender chicken pieces nestled in the pesto sauce were a match in heaven. The dish had a perfect balance between softness and texture, and rich flavours from the broth and cheese made it a comforting indulgence.
Overall, 90 Secondi nailed it with their Ortolana Pizza and Chicken Risotto. If you are looking for authentic Italian flavours that hit the spot, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Disclaimer: Know the owner. But can vouch for the quality of food and service. Every time I have gone there the food has been excellent. It is next to Marvel Stadium, and for best service busy event days are not ideal time to visit but any other day you are assured excellent service and good quality food
Ash and his team were thoroughly accomodating and attentive which made for a pleasant meal for our team of 21.
Dined before the football last night. Was told pizza would take 20 mins by waitress. Took over 50 mins. Tables were attempting to leave to get to the football resulting in them being served their food before others who had ordered the same pizza and pasta. A big mess. Pizza was soggy when it came out and ended up having to get kids chips at the footy anyway….
Had the chance of trying their pizza on our recent trip. Amazing and authentic Pizzas coupled with a great service.
Awesome food, fabulous wine, friendly staff and an excellent service - so lovely to spend an evening at 90 Secondi.
Great place, but we made the mistake of dining here before an AFL game. Chaos. Table of 14 people. We ordered an entree and pizza but received our pizza after everyone had finished eating. Told the staff that we didn't want it anymore, and they took it off our bill. Very understanding.
I went there with some friends tonight. The restaurant was packed and took a little while to get our order. The food quality n quantity was great.
May be next time I will go there with an advance booking.
We were visiting Melbourne from San Francisco and tried this place based on a friend's recommendation. We loved the place - great food and ambience, vegetarian and kids friendly. Staff was very friendly and helped us pick the right options. Free street parking was available nearby.
The waitress for our table was really friendly and I liked that she kept replenishing the water as she would notice that it was empty even though it was busy.
The manager wasn’t very friendly and came across as frustrated when the waitress tried to sit my group at a table and told us to wait at the front (which we were doing before the waitress brought us through to sit) ️
The food was unfortunately disappointing. My friend ordered the Ragu and I feel like it tasted like the ‘big n chunky’ soup
I ordered the carbonara, which I was excited to see on the menu that they don’t use cream. However, the consistency of the dish was like eating clag glue?
I liked the convenient location being close to Marvel and Southern Cross but I don’t think I would return as I feel that the prices are high and the food quality and taste doesn’t justify the cost.
Excellent food, the staff was very kind and friendly, they went out of the way to accommodate even after the kitchen was closed.
Recommend everyone for authentic Italian cuisine.
Cheers!
I went to this restaurant with 4 friends 2 weeks ago and the food was ok, nothing great, never going back. What shocked me was the terrible service and how rude the “owner” was. No hospitality.
It's authenticity we could get. Cosy nice restaurant in the middle of Melbourne city Dockland. Always a gem in italian food and australia contemporary cuisine
Just at the entrance of Marvel Stadium.busy busy place but nothing of your order gets missed.awesome service.
It is one of the best Italian Restaurant for lunch after office for employees near southern cross
Just ok pizzas, mains more interested in filling you up with huge amounts of lettuce than anything else. Chicken salad huge bowl of lettuce and three tiny bits of chicken.
Flavorfull pizzas and pasta, excellent sevice and beautiful ambience for small gathering. Highly recommended for authentic italian food.
Food taste 3/5, Quantity is good, expensive. It's ok for team lunch but individually I don't recommend. Taste is not unique but it's ok. Atmosphere is great. I ordered pizza with chicken but there is not much flavor.
I would just like to say a big 'Thank you to Ash for making our group lunch special. He was accommodating and opened additional room to cater for our large group in such short notice. But lets not forget that food was delish too.
