It is seriously SO HARD to find an impressive cafe in the west and it’s been a while since we’ve actually been able to recommend one!

We went in not knowing what to get and ended up loving every element of every dish and drink we were served!

Definitely get your hands dirty with their giant chicken tacos - a generous serving of perfectly crispy southern fried chicken tenders matched with jalapeño & corn coleslaw; this was hands down the crowd favourite

Be sure to order some Buttermilk Hotcakes to share! It’s sweet, tart, fresh and crunchy - considerate of all the textures and flavours you’re after if you have a sweet tooth like us

It is a family owned cafe who’s hospitality not only to us but to their everyday customers is evidently such a happy and positive experience!

This cafe is led by Stef, Stef has an eye for detail. Food is always consistently perfect. Very similar to the staffs service. Thank you for years of consistency.

Loved this cute little cafe with it’s pink coffee machine and flower wall. We shared the baked 3 cheese shakshuka and buttermilk hotcakes and both were absolutely delicious! Coffee was also divine. Can’t wait to come back

Great service, good food. They made a mistake with my order and remade it with no fuss. They really make an effort to make sure their customers are happy. I recommend the brekky wrap!

I am here right now absolutely loving everything about this gorgeous little cafe. The girls running the joint are the height of positive exuberance, literally talking out loud for all to hear about what a fantastic day they are having so far: "good people, good vibe, great day" to be precise. It's barely 9am, so they've a great day ahead! The coffee is magnificent and I'm looking forward to brekky soon.

Fresh, attractive food, great portion and price.
The pumpkin and carrot soup is amazing.

Bitter sweet, the coffee had a strong flavour and reminded me of cafè Patrone. Only order the scramble eggs, (I mean how cab you go wrong with that) & it was delicious and and filling, the sour dough toad was crisp and thick.

And the staff we very welcoming, saying hello to everyone entering and even just walking by. It was good to see.
I loved sitting out the front in the sun, and there was no rush om me ordering.

It's a great place

The lamb taco was too salty + the sauce/ seasoning has too much pepper that makes it very spicy. My mouth is still numbing after 10 minutes. Maybe They should have indications of spicy on the menu.

Love the coffee here, it's probably the best out of all the cafes in Spotswood along Hudsons Road and there's quite a few. The barista is excellent and friendly. The other staff let it down with some very average service. I despise being called "love" and every time I go in that's what I get called. The one and only time my partner and I chose to eat in, our very simple meal of eggs on toast took over half an hour to get to us even though we were the only people in the place at the time.

The worst brunch we have ever had. We ordered the avocado and egg on toast with bacon. The bacon and mushrooms came out burnt and sweet, the sourdough toast came out soggy tasting of vinegar the avocado and feta was not bad the poached eggs also tasted like it had vinegar on it. Overall zero out of 5 for that meal. The fresh orange juice was not sweet it tasted watered down which is understandable as the oranges may have not been ripe enough. The chicken burger was okay however was one of those burgers that was difficult to eat due to the enormity of it. The coffee again was probably the worst I’ve ever had. Overall my experience was that the food was made effortlessly, recklessly and with minimal eye to detail. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or attending this place again.

Best coffee in Spotswood. Brilliant coffee and beans as well for home. Recently renovated with in and outdoor seating. They have maintained their speciality coffee angle with a young barista and still manage to deliver. The food here is interesting and generous sized portions. Recommend!

All I wanted was a chocolate milkshake. For $6 it was terrible. Appeared to be nothing more than a bit of chocolate topping mixed with milk. No ice cream. The worst milkshake I've had in a very long time. Not sure about the food or coffee but I won't be going back if they can't even get a milkshake right.

Such an exquisite food made here by a wonderful chef at 85 Espresso. Leaving the place with a warm emotional feeling. I would recommend that to a friend for sure. 5 out of 5.

Very disappointed went in to have a nice pie as advertised on their website to be told they don't sell pies.

After sitting down was ready to leave as table was dirty and rubbish was left on tables for a good 15 mind after we sat down.

My food came out however as I waited for my partners food so we could eat together my food went cold as her food was served 45 mine later!

Will never return.

BTW maybe get your toilets fixed as they were out of order to.

I had the most amazing SPINACH & FETTA CALZONE. The pastry was light and delicious.
Coffee was excellent and they really made you feel welcome.

Kicked off my morning with avocado toast and an oat latte at 85 Espresso. It was super-yummy! What's more, the staff were genuinely welcoming and easy to talk to. Pop by with an empty stomach if you fancy a sip and nibble. Highly recommend!

I used to walk and grab a coffee almost everyday here. Moved from Spotswood but I’ll never forget my best mocca ever! The food also is a great deal, always delicious and tasty. Thanks for serving me well guys…

(: Barista Steph makes an exceptional 3/4 oat flat white. Every new coffee pour is as good as the last. The staff are a great team. I have started buying their beans too. (Thanks for your support over Covid-19 girls:)

Really incredible food. The Knafeh French Toast is the perfect balance of crisp outside and soft inside, not overly sweet either with the syrup on the side. It's a really fun take on a cafe classic. Good size portion especially considering the generous fruits and ice cream. Highly recommended.
