If I could give a zero star I would. I'm a Canadian and in Melbourne for a visit. Obviously I am not gonna carry a passport everywhere I go at night before a nightout. I do have my Canadian ID and Driver's license, health card and my credit cards. I wanted to buy ciggarettes and I was asked for an ID and I showed him my ID. He said no, he doesn't not accept as it is a Victoria law that only passport and Victoria ID is accepted. The last I checked on the Australian government website that any foreign drivers license is accepted anywhere in Australia. He proceed wanting to explain to me why foreign IDs are not acceptable in Victoria. I'm like no that's okay because why would I need to be educated by someone who clearly needs educating? Just so you know the other 711 down the road accepted my ID just fine. I do not know what the deal is with that cashier but it is so unnecessary. This happened August 5th between 7pm to 8pm. Btw I also had a fantastic nightout to go into clubs and bars in Melbourne with my Canadian ID.

Gold star for the non existent cashier with customer service skills.

Chewing gum, and said absolutely nothing throughout the whole sales process, no hi, bye, nothing. Not even any kind of acknowledgement.

Pathetic service.

Poor customer service. We were traveling from Brisbane to Melbourne for weekends. My partner went to this shop on 13th of May for tobacco. When staff asked for ID check, my partner provided his QLD Driver License, but he been told that only VIC Driver License is acceptable for ID check in Victoria and the staff refused to sell it. I’m not sure this is the law clause only works for this shop or they make this new law clause by themselves? Go check Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 on Victoria government website!

I understand being busy but when a staff member physically grabs you by the shoulders and shoves you to remove you from the line, nah.female employee on shift Saturday 4th Feb.

Bad customer service on the 16-01-22 @ midnight. Employee took several minutes to unlock the door, when I went to pay was texting on the phone and asked me to wait (none was in the shop).

Went to grab a coffee with a free coffee coupon but got rejected saying i need a store stamp on coupon for it to be valid. I asked where is it written and he said it's a company policy. I went to other store and grabbed a free coffee and asked if there is policy like that and the store employee said no.

Bought pre-made beef lasagna, put straight in the fridge and found out it all mouldy after 2 days, still 4 days before the expired date. Brought back to store but can’t even resolved as I didn’t have the receipt from that store.

The man at the front desk was appaulling. All I wanted to do was get money out using Apple Pay but no, I HAD to buy something first. So I got a slurpee. But he neglected to tell me that you cannot use Apple Pay with his machines forcing me to use MY emergency cash to pay for it. This entire time he refused to show me the common respect and decency to not be on the phone just because I am a Euroasian Minor.

He showed discriminatory behaviour for my age and my race

DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you like being treated like dirt.

I would give this a minus 5 stars if I could

Myself and my family came over to Melbourne for holiday from Adelaide. When we were heading back to Adelaide we stopped in to your store (8am Saturday the 26th of August) to fill up on fuel and grab drinks for the 11 hour drive back home. When we pulled up we noticed other people had also pulled up and started filling their tanks. My partner and I got out and he tried to put fuel in. The pump wouldn't work and a muffled voice kept repeating something over the loud speaker. I couldn't understand him so I went into the store. I asked what the problem was and he kept repeating something I couldn't understand. After a few attempts at trying to understand the Indian attendant he finally said I had to pre pay. As I didn't know how much it would cost I told him I was going to wait in the store until my partner had filled up. He then refused to do that and said he wouldn't sell me fuel as he thought our number plates didn't match our car. My sister has owned the car for over 7 years and has never had any trouble. As he argued with me for over 5 minutes I said our number plates do match the car and we would take our business elsewhere. As I left the store he proceed to take photos of myself, my 14 year old son, my partner and sister without our concent. I am disgusted at how we were made to feel like criminals. We found another chain of petrol station and gave them our $93 and got our fuel and drinks for the 11 hour drive and we're served with a smile. Will not be recommended you in the future.
