400 Gradi - Mornington

Horrible experience, sat down at about 7.15 and ordered almost immediately. Every table around us at had finished eating, left and new tables sat down. After 90 minutes we were still waiting on our mains.

Tables around us arriving 1 hour after us received their pasta at the SAME TIME AS US. (It was the exact same dish)

We complained and asked for a discount after waiting 90 minutes for pasta and fish and we were generously given $5 back.

Food took over two hours to come out. We where served mussels that were closed. Food was undercooked and you could tell was rushed. No one ate there meals and obly 10% was taken of the bill? Very dissapointed.

Great Pizza. The pasta is extremely underwhelming and overpriced. Whilst the pasta itself is nice, the sauces are.some of the worst I have had.

The size of the pastas is also very small. Particularly for $40.

Great food, clean restrooms, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Table Service and front of house staff standout and have a high example of how to perform their roles in Gradi and witnessing this has provided me a great insight in how on point they are very impressed!

Food was a large factor in my review for 3 reasons. The initial order from the waiter, the waiting time for food to table, then my role in asking where about my meal is.

The initial order was rapid waiter was very knowledgeable and answered my thoughts and questions on the recommendations. After the fantastic service the wait for food begun.
Ordered roughly 8: 15pm.

8: 50pm came by very fast with yet to receive a hint of where the meal could be. So the next step for me was to wave for the next available member of staff which then raises a concern my food never made it through the waiter to computer or order and mind this evening was mildly quiet than usual.

I then received my meal at 9: 10pm again was the wait worth it for a well waited dish yes flavour was certainly delicious. But for the significant waiting time and for a decent sized
I do conclude that had an impact on my decision on this review.

I will certainly be eating regularly at Gradi 400!

Beautiful dinner here last night. Such a lovely ambience and amazing staff. Declan was a true hospitality superstar along with the gorgeous bartender who mixed up beautiful cocktails and great wine suggestions. Thanks to these guys and the rest of the staff for a great experience.

First time I'd been here and I loved it. The food was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We were lucky to get a table without advance reservations. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed it very much. This will be our spot when we visit Mornington again. We tried two pizzas, one rice and two pastas. The pizzas were the best. Service was okay as it’s closed to festive season and they were short handed.

Very enjoyable experience, didn't pre book but offered a table after just 15 minutes.
Meals served promptly, pasta and veal with side salad was great.

The service was extremely slow, the food was very ordinary and all for top dollar! I won’t be back!

Came for lunch yesterday. First like to mention that the food was awesome, and we were impressed with the pizza and pasta dishes we had. Second our waitress was lovely and was great, except for the the following; which in a way ruined a great experience. I believe it was not our waitresses fault. A few minutes after our meal, finishing drinks and but no longer ordering more food, we were asked to vacate. We completely understand the reasoning behind it since I’m sure you would want to serve more customers but it was quite a rude experience, especially since we were showing our international business guest around. Our guest was quite taken back since this would be the first time his had such an experience which we ended having to try and explain the reason why. I guess what would have been a great showcase of the place was ruined pretty quickly by that one act.

Had a beautiful waitress & Had such an amazing dinner.
Gave her a tip personally because she honestly deserved it.
Should have grabbed her name, However she is such an asset to your Gradi Mornington team!

Hands down best Italian restaurant I have dined in!

Definitely worth every dollar spent.the staff where extremely helpful and had great knowledge on the menu!
Service was so quick and the food was made with care and it really showed what a great display of how a restaurant should run I would definitely recommend giving it a try:)

Apart from the initial drinks we ordered upon arrival our waiter didn't come to the table to take any further drink orders and we had to ask for water. Our water glasses were filled but no 'top ups' through the meal nor was a bottle of water left on the table. 5 of our 6 meals arrived and we had to ask where the 6th meal was. It arrived when the rest of our group had finished their meal. The lamb ragout was little more than a pasta with a couple of small pieces of lamb in a split oily sauce. When I questioned the manager about the meal she produced another meal which was exactly the same and she was quite rude and antagonistic. At the end of the meal no staff member came to the table to see if anyone would like desert. A great night out with friends wasn't the experience it should have been. Absolutely disappointing and it gives me no joy in having to provide such a negative review.

First time eating here today.
The food was fresh and tasty, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere/ambience is beautiful.
I will definitely recommend this place and will be returning.

I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon meal with my family here. The service was so friendly and professional, and the food was delicious. The best pizza by far, but also all of the other food we ordered was great. Thank you to all staff at 400 Gradi Mornington.

My partner and I came here for a baby free date. The food was amazing, the cosmo was great and the dessert wow! The service was absolutely lovely. Not sure her name but we had a young red/brown hair lady, she was great. As well as the manager I believe was awesome too. Definitely be coming back as often as we can.

Outrageously overpriced!
The food was tasty, the service was ok, but it doesn’t really justify a bill of $137 for 1x marinated olives, 1x vegetarian pizza, 1x vegetarian pasta, 2x glass of wine, 1x dessert to share.
This was on a Saturday night, so no surcharge, just the usual price.
When you charge $30-$40 for a pizza or pasta, it better be really special.
I won’t be back.

Had 2 very good pasta dishes, husband had the beef ragu and I had the spaghetti with crab. Both were delicious and good servings. Service was also very good.

Beautiful food, excellent service- just a fraction too expensive for what it was. If you want a wonderful meal and don't mind the price, this is the perfect joint.
