Excellent breakfast options, great tasting food and coffee.
Waffles are amazing, Avo on toast also excellent.

I went for lunch as didn’t have any other options on a very busy day. Service was very nice, but the food came slowly and when it came was fairly average. If you don’t have a reservation in town and need a place to eat, you could probably do worse, although there may be better about. Maybe it’s better for breakfast?

We had an amazing lunch here, the best we’ve had out in a long time (especially the Open Steak Sanga) Can’t wait to come back try the rest of the menu! Highly recommend. Service and food 10/10

Such a brilliant Cafe. The staff, food, ambiance and coffee are amazing. Can’t fault anything. Worth the stop when on the Great Ocean Road.

If your around Anglesea (great ocean road), they serve one of the best coffees and friendly staff.

Great coffee and waffles. Was disappointed that I paid extra for a poached egg that was way too hard. Also didn't like that they added a tip without my permission when I had virtually no table service. I had to get the water and cutlery for my table myself.

Any place that has both Vegemite on toast and a smashed avo option is a winner in my books.

Coffee was good, but the food was a clear standout.

There were several vegetarian options on yhe breakfast menu.

Ordered for brekky like as they told using the scan and pay, paid and receive confirmation in sms. We waited for 30 mins and ordered didn’t come, the staff told they didn’t received the order. What a pleasant thing to hear.

Had refund and left the place.

I wouldn’t trust ordering scan and order things in here. Go in person order.

Awesome cafe! Well worth a visit. Amazing food! Super friendly staff. Really lovely inside and great outdoor seating too (no views - set back from the road). Easy access.

Ordered a small flat white here but it comes out to be the coldest latte I had in my life. Just never expected to get disappointment from my coffee order in Australia.

Conclusion: DO NOT order flat white here

February 2023: We visited here for a Sunday morning late breakfast / brunch. It’s been a few years since we stopped in Anglesea for food. This was the only café in Anglesea that I could find in advance online that offered menu options that suited my family’s assorted dietary requirements (including vegan, vegetarian and dairy allergy).

Overall it was a decent breakfast and I’m grateful that it’s getting easier to find vegan friendly menus outside of Melbourne. The café was busy (but not full) and it felt that staff were struggling to keep up with the volume of customers, but they were polite and friendly. Once we had ordered the drinks came out very quickly, and the food was not far behind.

We used the order online option, scanning the table number link to access the menu and pay in advance. It offered a variety of ways to modify the meals we chose and highlight our specific dietary requirements. And it meant that we did not have to wait for the waitress/waiter to be available to take our order.

The long black coffee was very good - much better, than I would normally expect in regional Victoria, so that was a pleasant surprise.

I must confess that the price was a little bit higher than I would have expected for the amount of food we received.

Came down for a weekend away from Melbourne. Got the ham, cheese and tomato croissant and it was phenomenal! Coffee was amazing also! Not bitter at all like some other places. Partner got eggs on toast with chorizo, bacon, hollandaise and goats curds. Was deliciousssss! Irrewarra bread is truly the best. Good service, prompt and smiles all around. Thanks guys!
