3 Knots Cafe / 2BusieBees reviews
38 I was a regular at this cafe but will never come back. Truly rude service from the owner. We were to made to move table to suit a “reservation”. No warning or label or even an apology.
BTW. We were not “asked”. There was nothing gracious about the request for me and my family.
Had a beautiful brunch with my family and had lovely service, definitely coming back again
Would not recommend this place at all.
Customer service is bad and people at the counter rude.
Highly overpriced.
Food took long to come out.
Ordered two poached eggs on toast and when it did come out, upon opening the egg there was water coming out of the egg which suggested it wasn’t even cooked properly given it took them ages to bring it.
Enjoyed an amazing vegetarian asian breakfast, something not offered anywhere else on the peninsula! Staff are super friendly. Definitely come here if you’re after something a little different in a welcoming environment
2 busie bees / 3 knots cafe is a small cafe in a great location in Rye. There are a few vegan options including the vegan burger, vegan big breakfast, and some other dishes like the smashed avo have vegan options.
There is not a huge amount of seating, but service was quick and staff were friendly.
There’s also a large gift shop in the same building as the cafe.
What a surprise find! Whilst looking for Mt afternoon Almond Latte I stumbled across this little treasure, a book market! Jewellery, clothes, bric a brac. Loved it! The Cafe even has vegan options. Bonus!
Flock of Seagulls indoor market was great. We had morning tea here and enjoyed looking at all the handmade goods for sale. Jewellery to clothing and lots in between. Really en joyed browsing and buying!
Awful.
Coffee was really, truly terrible.
The brekky burger was decent.
We ordered a single piece of buttered toast for my son and they charged us $5 for it. It came out as a small piece of toast with a lump of unsalted butter next to it, which had some type of fluff stuck in it.
Avoid at all costs.
Coffee was pretty good and the gift shop had random things and pretty interesting. Worth popping in and having a look around. The back is quite large. You don't get that impression from the front.
So disappointing.
Friendly staff but awful food and coffee.
The coffee was bitter and difficult to drink. One piece of butter toast for a toddler for $5? ! A bit steep. It arrived un buttered and with a cold lump of fluff covered unsalted butter on the side. The breakfast roll was ok but fairly average.
We should have kept walking. Avoid.
Had delicious breakfast here this morning. Food was super fresh and delicious. The Vegetarian Asian breakfast special was awesome. Coffee was lovely. Staff are super friendly. Recommend giving this place a try.
I’ve just started eating gluten free and this was seriously the best Benedict eggs I have had in a long time. Best than most egg Benedict non gluten free that I have had. Great coffee too! We will be back!
Starting work again after a 16hr shift and being disappointed by the lack of vegan options around Rye on a Sunday, finding 3 knots with a range of vegan sweet and savoury yums was a much welcomed surprise! Staff were super lovely and showed attention to detail. Seeing the dog treats at the register made me miss my dog during this work trip but also made my day in a way! Thank you
Had lovely experience here. Good coffee and my belly is full till dinner having Aussie breakfast set. Well made breakfast and presented beautifully.
My new favourite place. Coffee was good. Staff really friendly and all the amazing things to buy. So many beautiful things. Its a must go!
Today was the worst experience i have ever had at a cafe. Would strongly advise to avoid as the owner is very rude and treats her customers like they owe her something.
The way she spoke not just to us but other customers that came in and made enquiries was shocking, I cant believe somebody who hates people as much as she obviously does would even bother running a cafe.
I have had things forgotten to be put on my plate in the past, as i am a chef i understand things happen. Never in a million years would I imagine when bringing it to the owners attention I would be accused of lying to get a extra hashbrown.
The response from the owner and cook was embarrassing and shows that they wont be running this place for long, you can not treat customers with such disrespect and stay in business.
Waited over 20mins to get two small takeaway coffees this morning. They weren’t making coffees in the order they were made so we were left with no idea how much longer it would take. We had to leave with no coffee as we needed to get to the ferry on time. One would think allowing 20 minutes was enough…
What a waste of time and a terrible way to start the day. Won’t be going back.
A locals favourite I'm sure with the cafe with awesome coffee's and breakfasts.
Then enjoy a walk around the seagull market all under cover.
Very interesting items at reasonable prices also card stands with gold jokes.
Heaps better than Xmas bon bon jokes
Do yourself a favour after lockdown, enjoy the drive down the peninsula for the day or stay overnight.
Enjoy people
Lovely cosy place to have breakfast. Poached eggs was cooked perfectly and their vegan muffin was delicious (1st time trying vegan food).
Great little Cafe at the entrance to Flock of Seagulls indoor market. Had lunch there on Friday. Food and service was excellent. Reasonably priced too.
