Staff went above and beyond to make our Sunday afternoon lunch a very enjoyable one. Haven't received great customer service like this in a while. The manager in charge was amazing on the day. And helped make the birthday celebrations awesome! The food and drinks were even better

Amazing food and service. And on new years as well! The food is great, particularly the fish and chips and I really enjoyed the Lemon Meringue

Great food and staff are lovely with toddlers. Always get delivered but went for breaky today and had a great time as usual.

Outstanding service and very polite and helpful staff. Food was very good, but a little on the cold side for smashed avocado and soft poached eggs - which were also a little overcooked, but overall very happy!

Sorry but the food was not the best. The Cesar salad’s poached egg was hard boiled and the scrambled eggs were rubbery and tasted of burnt oil.

What a fantastic Cafe! We have been coming to Lava for the last 4 years and i dont think we've ever had a bad meal (we're there nearly every weekend!). You can tell they cook everything in-house (I had a parma delivered and it was AMAZING. Beats all the local pubs and i can't wait to try it there in person). The staff are so nice. It's the sort of place where you sit down and they ask if you want your usual coffee which is something i look for in a local. Thank you to all the team!

Just received cold, stale chips and something that is supposed to be calamari. Inedible. Going to have to lift your game once lockdown ends.

This was my first time visiting Lava Cafe and I can't wait to go back once lockdown number 5 is over.
Our lunch was delicious. Hot drinks were perfect. The staff are amazing!

My first visit to Lava Cafe blew me away! The artwork is very cool. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. The breakfast potatoes was a stunning dish! There bug breakfast was also great. Would definitely go back! Oh and the prices were surprisingly low too!

Eventhough it was my first visit today, I liked it. So if you are after a good coffee just go there if you are closeby.

Great food, great service and great prices. What more can I say? I love going here for either a meal or just a coffee. The staff here are very friendly and you don't have to wait long for your order. They have a really great menu to choose from and the food is always well cooked. You can choose to either eat in, take-away or have it delivered. When in Berwick you should try the Lava Cafe and Restaurant. By the way, they also have the Lava Lounge for your Friday and Saturday night's entertainment.

What a fantastic place to eat.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
The menu is very extensive.
They even cooked a meal for us at 3.45pm
When the menu said only available till 3pm.
The food was great.we will definitely eat here every time we visit berwick.

Went there for Mother’s Day for a two hour wait, we watched as our starters got given to the table next door who arrived after us and had there meals given to them not more than 10minutes later. Personally I had the chicken burger and was so disappointed, I kid you not when I say they cut the chicken patty in half! I got a bun lettuce a thin layer of avo and half a piece of chicken, I thought buying burger entitled you to a whole burger. If possible I will put a picture depicting the burger after the solely bun portion of the burger had been consumed.
I ended up having to eat leftovers from my family and girlfriends meals.

My favorite restaurant in southeast suburb~hands down. You can taste the quality yummy food from the ingredients and it is feast for your eyes too~funcy lovely dishes. You can tell they have experienced chefs in kitchen. Everyone is friendly, professional and very attentive. Service is top notch. Will be back after lockdown again soon. Will forever be my favorite

The best restaurant in Berwick. The food is without a doubt always amazing. Mine and my partners favourite local spot.

First time ordering, and OMG everything was amazing! We ordered kids linguine, and chicken parma's for us adults, so fresh and tasted amazing. And they gave us a dessert for free! Wow! We will be back, lovely food and customer service. Thank you
