35Requesting a small coffee to a large within second seemed like a crime! Barista snapped like it was such a big deal, when the coffee wasn’t even made, if your having a bad morning you don’t take it out on your customers!
Walked past this place heading home. Returned to try it out and not disappointed. Great vibe and service! Recommend highly.
Outstanding food, hospitality, cocktails and coffee, and the house-made negronis, good lord. Visited on a Saturday with our two teenage kids and we were all blown away. A real treasure.
A friendly and cosy comfortable Cafe, lovely staff. Nice coffe & cake. Good food. They made my Sunday brighter ️ thanks.
Beautiful quiet cafe tucked away behind the Bourke rd shops. Service was very friendly and very quick. Brekky burrito with pork sausage was delicious. Had an ice latte made with Black Betty beans, loved it! Will definitely go back to try other things on the menu.
First outing at this lovely bar, and it did not disappoint. The music; the atmosphere; the staff; the FOOD; the cocktails; the decor. Nothing disappointed. Side note: the espresso martini is incredible! I will be back, with a table booked, and a lot more people. I cannot recommend more, what a great new local!
My new go-to! Deliciously authentic Italian-style wood-fired pizzas, scrumptious desserts, quality wines and beer. Taking full advantage of happy hour 4-6 Friday and Saturday.
Super friendly staff. Live music too! Just what Camberwell needed?
I love the varied seating options - comfy lounges or varied table sizes to suit an intimate dinner or a group gathering.
Fantastic coffee. Can’t wait to try a breakfast here in the sun on the outdoor tables.
Met friends here for Live Jazz and Cocktails, great atmosphere, Negroni a must, loved the Octopus dish and empanada's very authentic.
Fantastic evening at happy hour at Barrel & Wine. Outstanding customer service, very friendly and helpful waitstaff. Lovely pizza, cocktails and lovely affordable menu choices
A warm and cosy dine out experience, perfect for first dates. Staff highly professional and attentive. Highly recommend the pizzas and drinks.
Fabulously friendly, attentive staff, and delicious drinks and food! Commendations for the really yummy vegetarian options.
Best kept secret of the area. The service staff are genuine and kind, great wood-fired pizzas very reasonably priced and the place has an upbeat vibe. I've been part of community and work events here too - we're always well taken care of.:)
Reincarnation of a contemporary space now serving great pizzas. Quality ingredients and pizzas made with pride. Plenty of space for diners.
Great down to earth atmosphere. Good service, cater well to individual needs, perfectly tucked away from the hustle bustle of Camberwell junction to grab a bite and/or to host a function
Baked eggs with chai I am very fussy about my chai so it has to be leaf and spicy. This wet chai mix was perfect. The baked eggs were great too, ideal for a cold day. Just enough egg, sauce and chorizo and the sourdough with butter was crunchy, spot on coffee head!
The food and drink are good, the breakfast selection pretty standard and less variety. The cafe is spacious, I hope they can offer more pastry in the future.
Coffeehead is a spacious cafe and coffee roaster located close to Camberwell station. The site has been converted from a former warehouse and has an eclectic and retro vibe, with cool touches such as a foosball soccer table.
Visiting for weekend brunch on a warm day we opted to sit inside and ordered the toasted brioche and salmon benny along with the Mel & berry smoothie and an iced latte to drink. Everything came out beautifully presented.
Had it not been so hot I would have opted for a hot coffee. This specialty roaster serves three blends and a single origin coffee with beans available to purchase.
I highly enjoyed the brioche. The thickly cut brioche was topped with Serrano ham, grilled asparagus, poached eggs, hollandaise and gremolata and was served with grilled apple. The eggs were perfectly poached and the brioche nicely soaked up the hollandaise and egg. The flavours worked together beautifully and I liked the touch of sweetness from the grilled apple.
My friend had the salmon benny. Served with a carrot and mint hashbrown this dish offers a unique take on a classic. My friend found the flavours interesting although it was a bit salty for her liking. The smoothie and the iced latte were very refreshing for a hot day.
In addition to the breakfast and lunch menu, woodfire pizza is now available from Friday through to Sunday.
Overall I had a lovely experience at Coffeehead, I liked the cool vibe, friendly team and the interesting menu. Overall I rate Coffeehead out of 5. Thanks very much for having me.
Pretty good place for a get together as a work function. Going to have to check them out for a normal visit too.
Great big space with a cool retro feel standard selection of brekkie favourites with a nice selection of sweets on display. Good location being off the main road and super accessible from the train station as well.
