1915 Lanzhou Beef Noodles

Genuinely love the food here. From the noodles which was absolutely flavourful, the lamb skewers and donut that I never knew I need in my life and the super juicy and tasty dumplings. Love them all! They are also Halal!

Good food, just like their famous Sydney stores. I'm from Sydney and now live in Melbourne, so lucky that they are here! Be careful of parking, it's hard to get.

Probably I’ve found the noodle place with the WORST service across Melbourne. The cashier is absolutely a nightmare. I hereby promise I will NEVER visit this place again.

Popular spot for locals, we came at just the right time to get a seat on a busy Saturday night. I'm not sure they take bookings so best to come earlier, although the line did move quickly and I don't think the people waiting had to for very long. You are seated and they give you the menu but you order at the counter, there is no table service. Got the spicy beef noodles, which were actually spicy! $15.90 and you get to choose the thickness of your noodles. Perfect portions and beef very tender. Lamb cumin skewers a must try also, $3 each or you can get a plate for cheaper, can't remember how much. They also have a dumpling selection for those not in the mood for noodles and a good selection of side dishes like marinated eggs, cold salads and the fried doughnut was very popular also. They have an extensive sauce collection and a water tap for self service water. Everything is halal as I would expect Northern Chinese cuisine to be. It's in the bottom floor of the sky one building and is loud so not really a place for a long dinner catch up with friends but if you're after tasty beef noodles and lamb skewers, highly recommend this place!

Probably the worst restaurant I have came across. We were told that we couldn’t have outside food which is we stopped but the chef continued to swear behind the screen and even came out to try and fight me when confronted. Even attempted to throw punches

Please educate your customers on friendly, smiley service. Very abrupt. Even though English isn't your first language, you can still be gentle and nice.

Apart from that, food was spectacular though so it would have been 5 stars if service was great

Absolutely amazing beef noodles. I had the stir fry noodles, and my partner had the spicy beef noodles. Both were amazing, great value and great serving sizes. Super fast service, too.

Very horrible and terrifying service! Wish to rate Zero, if the staffs hate this job, go and get another job. Hopefully the manager could refresh their team.

Delicious food, highly recommend the lamb skewers, Lanzhou Beef noodle soup, dry noodles with beef mince. One big bowl of noodles is very filling. Customer service was good and fast!

Love its beef soup noodles, the nicest in Melbourne. The set meals are exceptionally good, where you can also pick sides. And never forget to order its Lanzhou donuts. It is absolutely my favorite.

The taste of the broth is both delicate and precise.
The beef slices are thin, not fatty.
The noodles are so fresh.

Rude staff especially girl with the coloured hair she literally has no desire to be there at all and very blunt. Asked her if she can clean a table for us to sit at as the whole restaurant was a mess (bowls sitting there from previous customers) she brought the spray + cloth and never returned.i had to clean the table myself and so did another couple at their table.
Forks were still dirty so i took them back up and asked for new disposable ones to use (which also seemed too difficult for her to get as she opened the drawer abruptly and pointed for me to get myself.

Food was good hence the 2 stars but i dont rate the customer service at all! We came from sydney and get 1915 in sydney very often and never get that type of service.

I tried 1915 in Sydney before. I would recommend the combo for single visitor. It includes beef noodle, a Lanzhou donut and two lamb skewers. Price are affordable ($16.9) and yummy! Highly recommend the standard beef noodle.you can choose the thickness of noodle and spicy for it. Also saw the staff make the noodle in the kitchen. Great choice for a morning late lunch!

Food was really good but the waitress with purple hair was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. Why be in customer service if cannot help customers? Ruined our experience there.

Terrible service with absolutely no care in the world. Came in and waited to be seated and no one would serve or seat us and one guy just stood there staring at us and didn’t bother attending to us. Even seeing us with a baby. Left because of this.
