I didn't go with 1800 Salvage as I was offered $500 by another cash for scrap metal business and 1800 salvage was the lowest offer for my 1996 Toyota Corolla Seca, manual car at $250. The reason I gave 1800 Salvage 5 stars is I did most of my online quotes on 30/3/23 outside of normal business hours. However, I got an email from 1800 Salvage straight away on 30/3/23, got further email instructions on 31/3/23 then was offered $250 via email before I had taken requested photos of the vehicle. I also received a phone call from the business, they left a voicemail message as I couldn't answer. They emailed me a few times to see if I had any questions, I intially didn't respond as I had no questions. I then emailed 1800 Salvage to advise that I had chosen to do with another business which intially stuffed me around due to poor/no communication when their truck broke down and I had to reschedule collection with this other company. 1800 Salvage offered to do business with me if the offer with this company fall through. 1800 Salvage were polite and professional. My main advice is shop around for quotes if you want the best price as I got several different prices offered for my driveable but old car.
