Got delayed waiting for 3 serves of the chicken gyros at lunch and missed our tee time on the short course so instead signed up for 18 holes on the beach course.

Now firstly, the chicken gyros was a tasty little treat washed down with a schooner of Carlton Dry.

Secondly, im not a golfer. Paid $145 and took 139 shots, and also got to meet a guy with some pretty groovy pants on. So I feel like i got my moneys worth.

Lastly, I don't know golf courses but this one seemed nice. Disappointed not to see any beach on the beach course though. Left me wondering if there is even a creek on the other course.

Too much slope on and around greens makes it hard to approach and hold them. Course would be better with more trees alongside fairways and less snakey knee deep grass.

Course is superb, accomodation fresh and new, great lunch and breakfast options on the restaurant and friendly staff. We paid $205 for one night including breakfast. Golf was extra of course however nice and secure in a ‘gated’ community. Perfect for a nice weekend away. Open fire in the restaurant made it warm and toasty on what was a cold day.

Was about to spend $360 for a round of golf for my family and I, as well as food and drinks. Even wanted to buy a hat. They told me not without a collar. Which is fine, I decided to leave, but driving out I witnessed no less than 12 people not wearing collars. On the beach course. Probably about time for golf to shut up and take the money or at least be consistent with their dress codes. Ive played here quite a few times, doubt I’ll be back.

Such a lovely venue, plenty of space and a lovely peaceful atmosphere. Service in the dining room was excellent and food tasty and filling.

Underwhelming. We expected great things and were disappointed. Accom was great, no complaints. Staff were pleasant and attentive. We played creek course as members only on beach course alternate days. It was well maintained but we have played far better for half the price. Beach course may have been slightly better but we won’t be returning to find out. No GPS in cart, no rain cover. We were overcharged green fees and had to request refund. Restaurant not open on Tuesday night, fair enough. On Wednesday afternoon asked to see dinner menu and was shown a comprehensive menu that looked lovely, he did not mention we should book. When we turned up for dinner waitress gives us a menu that was basically either pizza or chicken Parma/schnitzel, not the delicious sounding menu we were shown earlier that day. Then when we place the order we were told pizza only available for walk ins! Really? We had spent close to $1000 and we could only have pizza? ! There are better courses for far less, this was not worth the money paid. Sorry guys, we were very disappointed!

Great place. Club house staff really good. On course accommodation comfortable, neat and tidy. Food really good. Both 18s fantastic. Would go back again and again.

Great course! Great staff, amazing meals! Looking forward to heading back, and hopefully hitting them a little better next time round.

Played the creek course pretty good. Greens and fairways great but stay out of the bunkers.

Honestly, do yourselves a favour and go have a meal in the restaurant. Food is outstanding, staff are amazing, views from restaurant are fantastic, what more can you ask for.

Review that should inspire your patronage! Why? Words are meaningless. So go and have a meal. Their actions are the reason for this review of recommendation. The staff are keen, attentive and considerate. Our host was a lovely lady filled with one task, to bring us our desires and to make our pleasures of eating and drinking pleasant and desirable without being noticed. One of our group thought and commented that the staff attending us seemed to read his mind. Yes really! The food was outstanding and the view was next to none. On a clear and blue. On a grey day you can imagine how amazing the blue and green (sorry for the pun (would strike you.

Stayed in the lodge room and it was above our expectations. Good staff service and great course.

The hospitality was 2nd to none.
The staff were sensational.

Tough course, plenty of challenging pin locations and tee off boxes. Course was in pristine condition

If there is a 10 stars rating I would give it to them.
I played the Beach course, the have the creek, which I will be back to play.

This course located in a very cool area, I was there when the weather at its best, cloudy with mid speed wind, tho it’s challenging but it’s part of the game.
The staff and the quality of their reservation is excellence. Warm welcome very modern facility and clean.
The fairway mostly are wide, very tempting but be aware of many bunker located to challenge your shot.
The hardest part of this course is the Green, all the green is very tricky and have their own character on every hole.

Team Thirteenth Beach turned it on. Shout to all the staff at TBGR. You guys really know how to make a golfer feel welcome. Even when we just wanted to get in a few practice shots and have some lunch. We were made to feel like the place was ours. The courses are amazing. You could not ask for better. Thank you for everything an we will be back.

I went there to play golf only, the course was tough but I loved the layout and the beautiful area it was on. The food in the clubhouse was very good especially after the first nine come in for food and drinks, Staff were very good and friendly. The facilities provided were of good standard. Great day out.

Stunning Creek Course - wide scenic fairways, beautifully groomed, with numerous bunkers, and little ponds around fast undulating greens. Very windy and challenging on our weekend. Best of all, a food cart just magically appears when hungry - pies sausage rolls chips beer and other drinks! Signage to the next hole could be improved.
Beach Course was wonderfully manicured, very challenging but wider and less shrubs to loose balls in compared to Creek course.
