10 Greek Plates reviews
82I came here on a Friday night with my partner, the atmosphere was lively and loud, food was very tasty and staff were attentive. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re after authentic Greek food with a good selection of drinks too!
Ten Greek Plates delivers a taste of Greece that's simply exceptional. From fresh tzatziki to mouthwatering souvlaki, each dish is a delicious journey. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a top pick for anyone seeking authentic Greek cuisine. Highly recommended!
Worst food I’ve ever eaten, my calamari and chips wrap had 2 chips on it. Pita was dry and hard,
We go for saganaki.
My family and I mentally prepare ourselves for the arrival of the saganaki- on the sizzling plate.
As the sizzling plate is set down upon our table, my family and I fall silent as we now share a common goal. One of us must instantly divide and distribute the saga (saganaki) to each family members plate, ensuring it does not cool by one fraction of one degree. With no words spoken the saga is unleashed upon our taste buds and devoured. Once the saga is gone a gastronomical calm settles over the table.
Then we ordered some drinks and ask to see the menu again.
Not too bad. No coffee available here after your meal. Very Limited Drinks Menu. Staff were friendly though.
Great food and great atmosphere! The plate for 2 was big enough to feed 4 with an extra salad:)
Went there for dinner last night for my sons birthday. Such a nice place, relaxed atmosphere and food was amazing, staff is very friendly. Will definitely be back again
Delicious food, great service (with a smile) and lovely ambience. I’ve been here a couple of times and will continue to keep coming back.
Went for lunch however only tried their tarama dip and then decided to leave due the noise level of a function they were hosting. We will definitely return another time!
Have enjoyed eating in many times at Ten Greek Plates, ordered delivery- never again! Was so slow to arrive, stone cold when it did and several (expensive!) missing items.
Called + emailed restaurant to provide feedback with no response back to any attempts. Great in house food but that’s where it stops I’m afraid.
Only the Aegean sea would make this fabulous place even more authentically Greek! The food is delicious, the ambience festive and the service friendly with a smile. A great experience we always thoroughly enjoy. Highly recommended. ώπα!
I love this place! The food is amazing, especially the octopus and citrus cured ocean trout. Bill and the team very attentive, Bill allowed us to bring our own Turkish Rakı. Great place a true taste of Greece!
Food is nice but nobody wants food handlers with beards uncovered hanging over their food, or any hair for that matter. It’s not hygienic. Last take away we found a hair in our chips ewww!
Billy and his gang deliver beautiful, caring and consistent food experience.
My son and I have a father and son dinner every other Friday there.
Fantastic souvlaki for $15 and generally excellent food. Crowded and fun. Decent service. Fair prices. One of the best in Martin Street.
First time attendance.
Side entrance is a little different.
Not a big space, and being busy, almost capacity on a wet Wednesday evening says something about the place.
The ambiance was slightly dark, the table we had, hard to find a spot for brighter light to read the menu. The table next to us used their phone torch. Minor in scheme of the night.
Both of us had the Hellenic Platter for 1
one lamb, one chicken. Pictured is the chicken.
Ordered side dish of the House marinated Kalamata olives. Hindsight, a dish too much. The serving of the Hellenic Platter for 1, while may appear small, is very filling. I'm a very active person and managed to get through my. My daughter, struggled with hers. Good portions.
This was a treat and all elements placed to quality. Would recommend either of these.
Lots of other options on menu. A look around the room of other dishes all looking good. One place to go back to.
10 greek plates is a good Greek restaurant. We have tried the Helenic platter Gyros Lamb and chicken. Dishes were tasty and well presented.
Also tasted the dessert "Ekmek Kataifi" (Kataifi pastry soaked in honey syrup, semolina custard and vanilla whipped cream), which was good, but too sweet. At the same time, it's certainly the style of Greek dessert, which tend to be sweeter than others such as Indian or Oriental desserts.
Ordered Sunday night dinner from this place and when it arrived found the lamb but I could not see my souvlaki anywhere. Then I saw a small bag opened it and inside I found a mini pita bread and a 4 inch souvlaki. This is what you get for $16.00. Never again! Charcoal chicken on centre rd has souvlakia 3 times the size but they are closed on Sunday’s unfortunately.
Tasty, but pricey and with small portions. On top of that, we got charged extra for ordering a dish with one ingredient less. It's not that we asked for a complicated modification.
I have been dining at this restaurant from the first time it opened it’s door.
The food is so delicious and so refined for a Greek cuisine. This is not your average Greek restaurant…. Everything on the menu is delicious! The white Tamara dip is exquisite! You definitely must must dine there!
