Ridiculously overpriced for what it is, many of the enclosures were empty and were unkept.it was sad seeing animals with no companions.

It's OK but half the time my daughter couldn't see because the glass on the enclosures was so dirty. I feel like if your primary target is kids they should at least be able to see things. For the experience it was definitely overpriced.

This is my favorite place in Tasmania! I love everything about it. The staff are friendly, the animals are amazing to be around and overall enjoyed myself here.

This was one of our favourite experiences in Tasmania! The kids absolutely loved it, and we treated them to the cotton top monkey and Tasmanian Devil feeding experiences which blew their mind. The park is really well laid out, with lots of open space, and it was great to see the animals have more space to roam than a traditional zoo. If you have littlies, there is also a great indoor playground in case they have some aream to still blow off.

Visiting with interstate visitors including 17 year old. It was OK. Not a large range of animals who were not much interested in food purchased for them. Facilities a bit tired, displays poorly labeled. Perhaps better value for $37 + $3 for the food spent at Bonorong.

A great place for viewing native Australian animals. There are set days and times for watching the lions being fed, and also opportunities to feed multiple other animals, with pellet vending machines available.
There was a safari bus in years before, which took tourists through to a field where the zebras and emus roam, and approach the vehicle. Unfortunately this experience is no longer operates.

Excellent Zoo, it has all of the Australian animals plus some exotic.
Beautiful day.

The zoo is not big but full of fun. You can interact with kangaroos and other animals. The animals look healthy. I think the zoo keepers are doing a great job.

Very disappointed. We have been to visit the Zoo on several occasions and it has always been a great experience, but not this time. We would normally spend a few hours there but not this time it was over in a very expensive 45 minutes. It doesn’t worth the money.

Had the best time at the serval encounter, couldn't recommend it highly enough! All the other animals are fantastic as well, I don't think we missed out on seeing a single one. The keepers are lovely and incredibly knowledgeable and the cafe staff are friendly and helpful. The play area is also brilliant and gives parents a chance to relax and have a coffee while the kids play. I had the sweet chilli chicken and sour cream wrap and an almond milk iced coffee, both were delicious!

I was there 3 years ago and it was great unfortunately this time I found it was a bit run down activities with animals were not there without paying no safari ride and a lot less animals and no barn animals for kids and birds

Great zoo, not overly big but not small either. Love feeding the animals (especially the kangaroos)

Great staff who were pleasant and informative. There is a fabulous safari-type ride around the Zoo with Hands-on feeding thrown in but unfortunately it was a little bit squishy. We had gone in a 'high traffic' time of day so make sure you get good comfortable seating. We had purchased as a birthday gift, a private 'Animal Encounter' package with our own guide and it was definitely a 'highlight' of our holiday. It was a little pricey but you couldn't get that 'hands-on' experience anywhere else. From cuddling wombats and holding a snake and sugar glider to hand-feeding meerkats and monkeys, it was our 16yr old daughters birthday dream come true. Only 2 people can go into the enclosures but it is fine to swap between family (friend) members. The other amazing item was the 'feeding of the lions which we all took part in. The Zoo and enclosures were clean and the animals looked well. Bonus was the beautiful drive out there.

Took my (adult) daughter here on the morning of our return flight home. We thoroughly enjoyed it - awesome friendly staff, excellent variety of animals close up and well work the visit.

The setting of the zoo was out of the suburbs.
There was quite a lot of conservation information.
The variety of animals for the size of the zoo was quite adequate.
Being able to feed macropods (kangaroos) and farm animals was delightful.

Hmmm, always wary of zoos. This one is a bit 'casual', rather sparse. I'd rather the animals were in the wild.

We had been here before covid and it was wonderful so we decided to go back but we were very disappointed, all that seemed to be popular was the children’s indoor playground? The grounds themselves seemed unloved, the lions enclosure was so overgrown you couldn’t see them through the weeds, the bird aviary (which last time was amazing) this time only really had a heap of green budgies and cockatiels (which we have at our house) and the atmosphere was very flat (unless you have kids), we won’t be back unless they clean up and improve the place.

Amazing experience. You get up and close to the animals. Listening to the lion roar at dinner time was majestic. The animals are well taken care of and very human friendly. This is one zoo not to miss when you are in Hobart

It was not as good as it was a few years back. When there was more experience's like the tractor ride around the park, taking pic of wildlife experience's that you pay extra for that they used to do. The feeding of the Loins twice a day. Other than that we had a good time again, and would recommend for children of all ages

I visited Zoodoo Zoo three weeks ago with my family. It was a lovely experience.
The zoo is well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and professional.
I have ordered feeding experience with the Tasmanian Devil for my ten year old as one of his Birthday presents. He was happy - it was a great birthday present idea.
We took Uber there from central Hobart - around $30. We took Uber back as well. We waited only 12 minutes for the driver to arrive. Very convenient.
Excellent experience - highly recommended.
