Zest cafe & Bakehouse reviews
55Been twice. Both times service was quite slow. First time I would have rated pretty highly. Second time they were out of a number of food items and understaffed for the number of customers.
Walked in not knowing the place and was greeted by a very smiling and welcoming staff member, which made the first impression very postive. Ordered a chunky pie and a hot chocolate and not were delivered promptly to the table I took a seat at by said happy team member. Pie was delicious and hot chocolate was made to perfection. Was very busy whilst I was there but no one was waiting which speaks volumes about how the team works together. 10 out of 10 from me.
One of our favourites in Devonport. Great food, coffee and home made cakes & desserts. Try the Tiger Chicken or Pulled Pork. Always cooked to perfection. Lovely staff & restaurant decor. Nice alfresco area as well bathed in sunlight for those sunny spring days.
Good bacon & egg pie. Well made coffee too. Stopped after getting off the Spirit in the morning.
Almost dog friendly, absolutely lovely friendly table service and the fresh juice is appreciated - so hard to get fresh juice in Tassie! If we dog owners were allowed under cover like at the Harbourmasters cafe on the other end of the river walk, and weren't relegated like 2nd class citizens to the windy rainy unsheltered corner of the courtyard I would rate it 5 stars. The umbrellas were screaming like banshees in the taswegian gale force breeze although it was a lovely sunny day. Poor dog was terrified the thing was about to blow over and kill us - she couldn't even be bribed with a sausage roll to enjoy the pit stop.
Seriously the best breakfast I have eaten in Tasmania. Fabulous service, polite and happy staff. Well made good coffee. Diverse menu choices. Premium quality products excellently cooked. Will definitely be back next time we are in Devonport.
A wonderful place to go for any occasion. Very helpful and friendly staff with enough room for the whole family or just a romantic time for 2
Cute cafe with a nice range of food and drinks. Their breakfasts were appealing and hearty but didn't quite hit the spot flavor-wise
Lovely and relaxed place to have breakfast off the ferry. Great freshly made food, coffee average.
Food is always awesome here! Lovely staff, great location. Is my "go to" for client meetings and lunch with friends.
OMG that is some of the best food I have ever tasted. Three little pigs, that's what I will have next time I am back in April.
Cute little spot to visit with good coffee, great pies and nice bakery desserts!
Their chicken burger is divine, I highly recommend it!
We have been to Zest twice now once for breakfast and for lunch both meals were amazing! Service was prompt and friendly and the coffee was beautiful. We would highly recommend this cafe we come from Launceston to go and have an enjoyable experience
First time there I thought it was great just a small meal and drink for lunch. Will go back again when I'm back in Devonport. The free muffin Friday was also a great treat. Thanks
Always a great place to go for lunch and yummy desserts. Love the giant shakes, great atmosphere, friendly staff and never a long wait)
