Zerodavey Cafe reviews
17Great little cafe with helpful, friendly staff. Just like an old style cafe with good food & big servings. Enjoyed our breakfast and hopefully will return. Thank you.
Had quite a dismal experience ordering a couple of takeaway flat whites. Waited over 20min and saw a few people take their orders who had ordered after us. Eventually after a while the lady on barista duties asked what we were waiting for, after another 5 minutes of waiting she served us the wrong order. Coffee was very average too unfortunately: (
A great little Cafe. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff. A much better option than paying for the overpriced hotel breakfast.
It’s a very cute cafe, good price too. Amber makes great coffee, and would surprise me with cute drawings when got a moment.
Great location, right near tge pier/ Hobart waterfront. Nice Cafe, good service, very reasonably priced, seating options - indoor tables/stools and countertop at long window, Nice busy street view. Newspapers supplied, several brochures on display for your perusal/taking. Cold water jugs supplied (upon request, as empties sitting there), to go with glasses in common counterseating area, mmmmm welcoming idea (Covid/germwise not too sure tbh). Had tge grilled chicken burger with salad and jalapeno dressing, GREAT VALUE at ONLY $12.00, delicious, and served in an extremely reasonable time frame. Would definitely return.
Got the big breakfast, it sat at the pass for 10 mins and then the chef ends up bringing it over so very cold. It says ‘eggs’ I only got one egg. The chef brought over the hash brown after I had finished eating as they had forgot. Really average for $24.
Very friendly, good quality and very reasonably priced Cafe. Ideal for our breakfasts during 2 days in Hobart. They also make nice fresh take-away sandwiches. Highly recpommended
Good coffee and tasty food. My chicken schnitzel wrap was yummy. My dining partner had the haloumi burger and mentioned that it was pretty good but a bit saltier than expected (being haloumi, saltiness was anticipated but not this much)
After sampling a number of breakfasts in Hobart, the eggs Benedict served here well and truly deserves an honourable mention. Very nicely cooked and presented. Sit and enjoy a paper or watch the world go by from the window. Nice and convenient to local hotels without having to walk up the hill into the city. Generally not overcrowded which is nice too if you like your space in the morning.
I've used zero Davey for catering in the past and they have always been brilliant. Excellent food and service, plus they've handled every dietary request and need without hassle.
I finally got in there for a sit down meal and it was amazing. The mocha was the best I'd had in a while and the halloumi burger was delicious. I'll need to go back to try the rest of the burgers on their menu!
Excellent customer service. Good quality ingredients and tasty food. Sandwiches very reasonably priced.
Bright and cheerful, friendly staff, quick tasty food, lovely coffee.
Definitely worth stopping in for coffee or food.
An amazing cafe over all. The staff are very welcoming, the food is nice and I think the drinks were good. I had a classic ham, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and it was delicious! I had a chocolate milkshake and it tasted like chocolate milk from a carton. I wish I had a cafe like this back home.
A groovy area that served really cheap and unexpectedly delicious breakfast. Stayed at Zero Davey so we thought may as well use the Cafe beneath.very friendly and fast service - great coffee too!
My fish was OK but other dishes orderer by our table were below average quality and the coffee was poorly made. Would not recommend.
The eggs weren't poached properly, they were hard boiled. Even after I sent my plate back to the kitchen to fix, one egg was slightly runny the other soft boiled. The muesli and yoghurt was lacking in yoghurt and when asked for more yoghurt the wait staff walked away and our request was left unanswered. The good news is that there are plenty of other cafes nearby that we will visit!
