Zambrero Hobart

First and last time customer to Zambrero's. I got food poisoning from a small chicken burito. At other tex mex places you get actual grilled chicken. When I saw the server scoop a slop of chicken mixture, I should've changed my order. I was quite hungry but only got halfway. Luckily my hotel room was close by!
On a positive note, the staff were lovely and polite.

Ordered Big Signature Bowl in a meal and they served with the regular one and charged me for big Bowl. On top of that they didn’t gave me chips in the meal.

I would consider myself quite an avid Zambrero enjoyer, however my experience today was quite disheartening. Some of these new trainees have no idea about customer service. They don’t know how to treat customers in a quick and efficient way. I walk into the store, almost empty, and the girl working is doing something which is fine, luckily I had some time to wait. She stops what she’s doing and seems like she’s about to serve me, and then goes back to whatever she was doing? ! Hello. I’m standing right here. I get what it’s like to work in a busy environment with endless jobs, but seriously, you have to serve people as soon as they come in, don’t leave them waiting. Lucky I wasn’t some person who doesn’t understand or couldn’t wait, because I’m sure that if it happened to anyone else they wouldn’t be so forgiving. Zambrero Hobart PLEASE train your staff in people skills a little better. Your customers deserve it.

My burrito was great, but I had to wait +20 minutes in a line. The shop was understaffed. There was just one person at the front when I arrived. Not only I had to wait long but also had to remind the girl of what ingredients my order should have and she ended up overcharging me for it. I understand the wait but definitely not a fan of being charged extra!

Understaffed, no sense of urgency. It's a wasted lunch break to stand in line for that long. Also raised the price and size of the small portions so now I am paying more for food that will only go to waste.

Best restaurant and nice workers and the guy working in front gave me a tip how to tie burritos

As a 1 a fortnight customer since the second day of opening I will never return to this store again. I don't get beans in my bowl and I don't get guacamole on my small nachos, if you honestly feel the need to charge for corn instead of tomato for the nachos you can get stuffed.it's not an extra.again will never return.

Good Zambrero, young bloke who made my burrito was incredibly charismatic, deadset legend.

Ben was an absolute legend. Best server I've ever had. If everyone was like Ben the world would be 10x better

Was served by a lovely lady with purple/blue hair. She was so accommodating to my needs and was quick with my order. Will definitely come again?

If i could put 0 on the rating, i would do that. Sorry for my temper but i am fed up with the worse and worse food services and experience here in Hobart.

We ordered two power bowls. One with extra chiken and due to this they just simply left out the salad of the box. I even asked for beans and there were (not lie) 3pieces of beans in the box. I ordered with blacce. The amount of the rice didn’t even reach a size of a tablespoon. The meat… the meat was a disaster. It wasn’t grinded, but mashed… i wasn’t able to recognize what kind of meat was that. It could have been anything. Really. It was a complete mash. Like a mashed potato.
If i order extra extra meat it doesn’t mean you have to left put the salad and the rest… even because the was much more room in the box.you should put the extra meat (mash lol) additionally to the packed box. Which should contain all of the ingredients you offering on your website! This isn’t food service. This is really low quality and quantity. Really. Sorry guys, i tried to stay calm and wouldn’t like to make harm on your business. I just wrote my experience about your service. It went straight to the bin.

I am absolutely disappointed in this, not only where there no rice or guacamole I got absolutely scammed with how much I got in my bowl. It wasn’t even 3/4 full! Got absolutely scammed and am very upset, maybe it’s time to find a new location

Healthy food for a good price. You feel good eating here as it's good for you and goes to a good cause. It's in a central location and open until late; so convinent! Although it's a bit cramped for space

Service was bad and food was dry and tasted as though it had been warmed up in the microwave.definitely DO NOT recommend coming here.

I purchased a vegetarian burrito and extra chips. The burrito was fine, but the chips were over priced and stale. They were $1.90 and I got 9 chips. C'mon Z, give us a decent serving of fresh chips.

It has a good variety of burritos, not that much, though. The food is good, taste pretty good. A little bit expensive. It is a total good fast food restaurant.

My friend and i were served by a girl called emily, she was super sweet and accommodating! Absolutely amazing customer service

Inconsistent portion sizing depending on who serves you. The guy was doing decent balance and the girl that served me was very stingy. I got mostly rice.some tiny portion of beans.essentially just bread and rice.harldy any salads and salsa. It's really frustrating and rips of veggo people. I'm so sick of it. Won't bother with zambys any more.
