12Such a great place for the kids. All fenced in. My 6yo said the flying fox was the slowest he's ever been on. But my 4yo was happy with it
Fantastic place for the kids to play and for the adults to grab a bit to eat at the pitstop cafe.
Stopped for a coffee & snack. Great spot.
If you have kids there’s a playground right outside.
There are so many different things to play on here. A parent-and-baby dual swing, rotating climbing frame, and a conveyor belt are highlights for sure. There are tables to sit and eat. There is a place right next door to grab food, snacks, and drinks too.
Absolutely amazing play area for the kids and its great to see it fenced off from dogs. Pity people couldn't use the bins provided to keep it clean for families who actually place their rubbish in the bin. Need more areas like this instead of taking it all up for other buildings or houses. Kids had a ball there and we will Def return. Great selection of swings and slides for all ages
Beautiful bright enclosed part with many different pieces of play equipment, water fountain and right next to public toilets and the Pit stop shop, has a picnic table inside the playground as well as two just outside the gate. Also directly next to the beach. Lovely park in a great area
What a great little playground for the kiddies. A couple of barbecues and seating around the play area make it even better.
One of the best kids playgrounds in the north west. Right next to a take away shop and the playground is fully fenced.
Outstanding park with a variety of options.
My 3 year old and 7 year old spent hours playing here today!
It has mostly wood chips with an intermix of the spongey clean ground and cement pathways.
There is only a little shade, which would be my only improvement suggestion. Shade is always good with little ones because of the UV Index.
We can hear the waves and see the water along with some bushes.
Toilet block is here as well as a bubbler.
The entire park is gated which always adds a sense of relief to parents with more than one child to look after!:)

I would come to Wynyard just for my boy to play on playground market right next to it on Sunday awesome too!
Great facility for kids with an awesome variety of play equipment kept reasonably clean and all enclosed.
