Woolworths reviews
51Very convenient and clean location, just a couple of blocks away from our hotel, with friendly staff and good trading hours.
Went here and found some supplies for some things I wanted to do. Staff are generally courteous. Happy to visit again.
Not good, very bad onion. And also it’s not coles and I kind of like that more but don’t ask me anymore questions and also don’t read this anymore
There was no wool and only cotton WHICH ISNT EVEN THE SAME THING. I needed wool for my turkeys sweater HOW DO I DO THAT WITH COTTON. Major waste of time, don't even have pipeline punch
Woolworth's Hobart Flagship store nestled underneath the Argyle centre on the corner of Argyle and Collins Streets. It has recently been refurbished, so it's uniform with stores across the country and is bright, fresh and cheery. The staff are always helpful and there are plenty of self-serve checkouts meaning you never need to wait long to exit.
This Woollies is particularly handy if you are staying in Hobart.
Nothing much has changed with all woolworth stores. Lack of staff. Sadly we do not have many choices to shop from. Aldi is cheapest for quality of food and products by a country mile But service at checkout worst in Australia. To visit time it right. IGA TOO EXPENSIVE I NEVER ENTER IF OTHER GROCERS IN SAME TOWN. COLES ON PAR WITH WOOLWORTHS. APPAREL IN ALDI IST CLASS AND CHEAP.
Everything is out of stock eshays and junkies fighting in every isles wouldn't recommend going by yourself
Ok. Meat section average. Big aisles though. Lots of self service check outs which is cool. Staff average.
The staff in this shop were so nice and helpful. Especially Grace and the tall young guy at the counter. Efficiently resolved the issue for a faulty product. Thank you so much.
Good store overall, nice and big, big variety of products, produce seemed quite fresh and there was a lot of it, there were plenty of trolleys and baskets available when we went, staff seems ok as well, thank you
I love the lady at the self swerve. The blond with the English accent. So lovely and respectfully to us who are disabled.
Kylie on registers is by far the biggest legend I've ever met in woolies. Great customer service
Never enough checkouts open at lunch time and way too much focus on self service. I understand that some people don't like people, but to have almost no human cashier's by design is absolutely poor customer service. I've started shopping at the local Hill Street whish offers amazing service and no robot cashier's. Make the swap, you may be surprised.
Good store to visit. Staff always helpful. Clean and shelves stocked considering these bizarre times. Thanks Woolies
Located in the heart of Hobart CBD. Free 1.5h parking on the Argyle Street with many disabled parking slots. Re-stock everyday but still not able to fulfill hoarded people keep stock pile.
Always love a browse through this place. A different variety of goodies to the other Woolworths stores.
Living in a city it is often difficult to find a good supermarket. I live in the Hobart CBD and so to have the Woolworths so close to home is handy. The range of food is good here, which is often not the case compared to larger suburban stores. The fruit is always good quality and the shopping experience is fast and efficient.
Good product selections but the most
confusing supermarket I've ever been to Nothing in the CBD Woolies is shelved where it makes sense. I spend 5 X longer doing my shopping there going around in circles looking for items
I used to come to Woolworths Hobart CBD everyday after work on my way home to spy any markdowns and little did I realise how much I'll miss a proper sized Woolies in the middle of the city. They only have small sized Woolies in Sydney cbd for some reason.
Woolies is ideally located in the heart of the cbd, within the plaza in which the argyle st carpark is located. The lift that leads directly to the carpark is accessible from inside Woolies by the self check out counters. It's also surrounded by everything you could possible want such as pharmacies, cafes, shops, retails etc. It's very Central.
I highly recommend going with this Woolies in the city. It's in a good location, it's a massive store with a large range of products. You can come here and do a multitude of things without moving your car or commuting elsewhere.
