Winganah Cottage

Scott and Linda has set up a master class which is to be experienced to appreciate. They left their presence felt without being there in every detail they took care of. Spending time with Alpacas and sheeps was relaxing indeed.

Spent the best night at Tasmania here. Regret not booking for more than 1 night. Had tons of fun feeding the alpacas (Princess, Cindy and Maisee) and sheeps (Luna and Midnight). Would definitely stay at Winganah Cottage again when I come back to Tasmania. Such a hidden gem.

Loved the place.it was one of the best stay in Tassie.hosts were really helpful and the animals were welcoming.you can see the night sky and starts from living room.

Wow.this little place is amazing, the loveliest hosts and everything you could need, we actually cooked a whole dinner and there was everything you needed in the kitchen, the bed was amazingly comfortable and we wished we could stay longer than the 2 nights, the price was so cheap, I think they need to put it up but for us it was great, you got food to give to the sheep and alpacas which came up to you as soon as they saw you, one of the sheep had a broken leg and had it plastered up and was still so friendly, there was a 3 week old alpaca and it was gorgeous and Mum was so good, the chooks would actually come into the cottage and literally ask you for food and then off they would go, so relaxing and a diamond in the rough, we definitely will be coming back to this place, thoroughly enjoyed everything. Well done to the owners for such a lovely place.

It exceeded our expectations and we were greeted by friendly animals upon our arrival. Can see the owners put a lot of effort to make this cottage as cosy and nice as possible and it was very thoughtful of them to prepare animal feed for us to feed them. We were surprised it has a full kitchen and the owners even prepared some light food stuff, water and even turn on the heater for us before our arrival. Just a short drive, there is a beach nearby for those who wish to view the night sky or even try to capture auroras. Strongly recommended to stay here if you are in the area.

I really appreciate the help from the Cottage's owner cause my girlfriend and I got confused with the specific adreess of the Cottage at the beginning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who travel Port Arthur! Besides, I really love the cute sheeps and alpacas hh.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay around Hobart and Port Arthur. It’s not only a cottage to sleep, but also a delivery of warm hospitality.
