Windsor Community Precinct reviews
23Everything I need is there when I have to go there. Doctors, chemists, radiology and food available plus more. I like browsing the paintings whilst I wait.
Its ok most of the time, depending on who is behind the desk, Ive had a couple of occasions when Ive made a complaint about bad manners, although the following remark was somewhat suprising.
On one occasion a female emloyee who worked there.rather than greet me with an hello, remarked how I was not wearing the right shade of nail colour for Autumn. (maybe she needed to work in retail)
Yes! You could say I was gob smacked, more at the reason she felt it necessary to make that comment, from the other side of a medical receptionist counter. Anyway!
Forthe most part the staff and doctors are pleasant enough.
Lovely having this area just 10 minutes walk from home. Our morning walks are done at Windsor and its a clean, well maintained area which we always enjoy.
Cafe is very friendly, plenty of professional businesses including a gym, physio, pathology, dentist etc.
Excellent facilities, Beautiful parklands for walking you four legged friend on lead. Some great walks and gardens. A very large dog exercise area. Remember that you share the parklands with native animals, birds etc.
Dog park isnt what it used to be. Cant be bothered putting the bin anywhere near the park, or replacing benches or replacing trees or providing something for dogs to drink out of. It will at least be less of a lake in winter.
Edit: 2022 Obviously much has been done since I wrote this 2017, looking good now
This is a great place to come for a picnic or bbq or kids birthday party. Great sport facilities. It would be nice if the cafe were open in a Saturday though, so we could stop for lunch or morning tea after sport.
Great place for a short walk, lots of water birds, sculptures, kids will love it too, big playground and excersice equipment for the bigger "kids"
Such a great area and facilities. Love the dog area and walking tracks! So well kept and clean!
The complex is clean, and quite, but it is busy. For me the doctors surgery is extremely good. Todays visit was to pathology, the staff were great plus I didn't have to wait long. Parking is good, plenty of.
A lovely family based location with short walks, parks, off leash area for the pup and the sports fields.
I had a doctor's appointment. Parking was easy today. The receptionists are always nice, calm and helpful.
Dr Jones as always, is a great physician.
Picking the ideal parking spot for the venue you want to visit isn't as obvious as it should be.
Went with a group of friends for a coffee and chat. Lovely staff and wonderful service. Plenty of wheelchair friendly access inside and out.
The dog park isn't overly big. Unless there are lots of dogs to play with or to chase a ball, there's not much else to do
Very good venue for an exhibition or community gathering. Clean and well cared for. Good parking
Friendly people, great service, good food and drinks at a reasonable price. What more could you want.
No grandstand, scoreboard didn't work, where are the toilets (no signage). Poor facilities for the size of the crowd.
Cool location - even has a dedicated RC field, keep in mind however FPV is not allowed there. When we went there was no one there at all.
