Wind Song Bed & Breakfast reviews
14 Wind song BnB was a slice of paradise. It was lovely old fashioned furnished, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. The cottage garden was lovely and the hosts were gracious and did everything possible to help us enjoy our stay.
If your self catering, it's a good idea to grab what you need before you get in as it is a nice distance to the shops which sometimes close early.
Wallabies in the backyard and possums in the front, what more could you ask for? Tom and Jane are so kind and even gave our children a little tour around the property, we are treated with a fabulous dinner as well. Stayed for just one night but can easily spend a week here. Definitely our highlight in Tasmania.
We had the best night’s sleep at Wind Song since we arrived in Tassie. Jane and Tom are very kind and helpful. “The lodge” is clean and comfy and got everything we need. Jane prepared a splendid 3-course dinner for us, which is super lovely and yummy. The wallabies are just outside the beautiful window eating grass. My 6 year old had a great time watching them (and chasing a bit). Would recommend to everyone, just a short drive from Maria island ferry point. After a long day’s exploring, Wind Song will make sure you get a nice rest!
Went there a few months ago with the idea of having a nice rest. Unfortunately, power was not good and when we were half way from cooking the power was not working anymore. We were told that it won't be fixed till the next morning (when we were meant to leave anyway). The only thing we could really have was a hot shower. I asked them if we could have some of our money back as we weren't getting what we paid for and they started to be disrespectful to us. Raising their voices and saying we just had to wait in the morning for the power to come back, and refused to discuss any deal. Never coming back there, worst customer service I have ever received while traveling.
Wonderful to be able to stay in a remote location. It was so peaceful and quiet, such a beautiful setting. Very friendly and accommodating hosts, we had a great chat with them. Breakfast provisions were left in the room. We paid extra for dinner and asked for vegetarian - wow! Vegetarian lasagne was delicious as was the very tasty garden salad with delicious balsamic dressing
Loved staying here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Only criticism was the fact the windows were dirty and had cobwebs on the outside of them, but wasn't that big a deal for us
Early May 2022: We recently had a delightful stay with Jane and Tom at Windsong. We so enjoyed the comfortable ‘Lodge’ accommodation, Jane’s chicken lasagna and ice-cream with chocolate or raspberry sauce for dinner, and Tom setting the fire ready to light in the open fireplace each night. The wallabies were feeding on the grass outside the bedroom windows and it was quiet all around… Lovely place, lovely hosts. Windsong was a 20 minute drive from the Triabunna ferry to Maria Island which is well worth visiting - it is a Noah’s Ark! Try hiring a bicycle to get around

Tom and Jane are lovely hosts, peaceful and quiet farmstay. My wife and I had our own separate breakfast preparation room, comfortable spacious bedroom, own bathroom and own Dining/Loungeroom. A warm and very comfortable short stay, we wish we had time to stay another night.
Halfway through our road trip, I needed a place to getaway and relax for a day prior to continuing on.
Wind Song and our hosts provided exactly what we needed in a clean space and on a great budget (the wildlife upon arrival including Echnidas and Wallabies didn't hurt either).

I can’t forget Beautiful house, close wildlife neat and sound breakfast and special meal provided by Jane and Tom.on top of that, My kids had good experience of Feeding animals In the morning with TOM.really good!
Lovely apartment in a farm. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly and helpful host. Adequate home cook meal
Really nice accommodation and hosts. We had a home cooked dinner on the first night and it was an excellent way to finish a long day of driving.
Once found, down an unmade road with numerous wildlife, lots of bush, pretty birds & wallabies gracing the road, you are in heaven. There is everything you need, warm bed, supplies in a fridge, comfortable. My hosts were on their way back from Melbourne's International Flower & Garden show, no doubt exhausted, but still cooked me a 3 course meal, absolute bonus & delicious. Its a lovely place to relax, photograph the wallabies that you can almost shake hands with & just drink in your surrounds.
