Wilmot Wilderness Retreat

Wilmot Wilderness Retreat exceeded my expectations by far. The photos simply do not capture just how beautiful this accommodation is. The cabin is quiet, peaceful and private and the gardens are gorgeous with the multiple trails going through the well-kept bushes, trees and shrubs. The perfect little escape from a busy life.

Easily the best place I've ever stayed. It doesn't get more serene than this. The garden, the waterfall, the pademelons and the outdoor tub was surreal. You can really see the stars from there too. Would recommend, and close enough to cradle mountain.

We absolutely loved the beautiful cottage presented by the hosts. It was definitely one of the highlights of our Tasmania trip. The whole property was just both pretty inside and out, surrounded by breathtaking views of different trees and plants. Just a gorgeous landscape. Inside the house was such a peaceful country home with modern touches. It consisted an updated kitchen with capsule coffee machine, all-in-one oven and air fryer, plus dish washer. The lounge room had comfortable couches, and big smart TV. Wifi connection was very good. It basically has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Oh, the outdoor bathtub was the best. We really wished we had booked a longer stay. This will give us an excuse to be back soon as we just love this place.

The cottage is unique, the setting is amazing and the new owners are updating the facilities. We liked it so much that we have already booked to stay again next year.
