Wattlebanks reviews
54Highly recommended.great food, friendly staff and a beautiful, shady garden setting dining area that is very relaxing on a nice day! Also, there is a function room available for any special occasion and they also provide catering services that can come to your event.
We had a quick visit through the town and decided to stop for a cup of coffee at Wattlebanks. I found the service to be very helpful and polite and we managed to get a table very easily also.
Be good for families lots of space for kids to run around and park a pram. 5/5
Love the salt and calamari and chips.so so good! Smooth and crispy. Scallops and chip. Customer service is awesome too:) we will came back again ️
Delicious food, hearty servings and lovely service. We had the pie of the day and the chicken burger, both were wonderful. Highly recommend.
A cute little cafe that we stumbled upon on the way through. The venue itself was very cute and the menu was quite good. Service was a little slow, as was the food. But it was to be expected on a Tuesday lunchtime when only 2 waitresses where working. Would recommend.
With the option of the cafe or the seafood van out the front you're spoilt for choice. Perfect spot to sit out in the garden if the weather's fine.
Fish van was great reasonably priced inside was over priced smaller serve twice the price but the coffee was good
Visited twice in the space of a week during a recent trip to Tasmania and both experiences were excellent. Friendly staff, tasty food and great coffee.
We chose a large fish and chips for one and this was ample for myslf and my ten year old ($17.50). The chips are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with an amazing salt! The fish tastes very good and there were 4 -5 medium size pieces - very generous, and is crumbed. The packaging is a carboard box which makes eating it in the car or whilst walking easy. There is also lemon wedges and a flavoured mayonaise which was very nice. The turn around time was less than ten minutes mabye 6 (great!), but it was at a quiet time, even if it gets busy I would still buy from there as it would be worth the wait. Next time we are getting the large squid and chips)
Friendly service and delicious meals. Staff were very courteous in making adjustments for dietary requirements.
Our food was fine, our coffee was weak, our service was very ordinary.they do with some customer service training
An amazing go to place for a nice fish and chips or a serving of crispy scallops. I have always been very picky with my fish and chips and looks like this place's is the best so far. Absolutely would recommend and will visit again!
Great menu including a kids menu and lovely selection of wines and drinks all at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff who are thorough with the Covid cleaning protocols and tables are well spaced. Food was served quickly and piping hot and our choices were all filling and delicious. Lovely surroundings and parking at rear for easy access.
Enjoyed a very tasty lunch, outside on a beautiful day. We thought food was reasonably priced, & of high standard. Lovely setting, great service, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Based on our experience, would highly recommend.
Good COVID-19 protocols. Lovely surroundings. Well spaced tables in restaurant and gardens. Good variety of choices on menu. Friendly, efficient staff. Particularly enjoyed the sweet potato fries as a side dish. Chocolate milkshake was good too.
Because of our cancelled flight back to Melbourne we had the absolute pleasure of having lunch at Wattlebanks!
The food, atmosphere, service was brilliant! Highly recommended such a wonderful cafe. Definitely will come back to Tassie for Wattlebanks!
Had a cheese platter shared with cousin $20 definitely big enough to share for 2. Had a loverly local cider to go with it as well
This business was more than willing to accommodate us when all we were wanting to order was coffee and cake.
Great wait staff, super friendly experience!
Great friendly attentive staff. Wonderful food. Organising to have a 70th celebration there. They have been accommodating with those up and coming plans. Hard workers, they deserve a wonderful outcome for their future striving
