Waterfront Lodge Motel reviews
55This is worst motel room I've ever stayed in.cramped.no ledges or space fir belongings.disability toilet was huge but you wouldn't get a wheelchair in the bedroom.no cupboards in shower to put gear on.maybe other rooms are better.stay elsewhere is my advice
Pray that when you stay you don't have anyone staying in the room next door as the walls are paper thin. We could hear the couple talking at a normal voice level. Everything works but is worn. The location is great being close to town in a quiet location free from heavy traffic
Out of the way you need your car. Stained top bedding. TV wouldn't work to all channels despite them trying to fix it.
I had great experience at this motel with my family. Spacious room with cleaniness and essential things. Staff is awesome and soft spoken. Good parking space.overall, fantastic stay.
I don't know how long ago room was used but wiping over tv remote control is just good for it and I think is part of covid cleaning steps but clearly hadn't been done.
You can see water but can't access.
The shower was smaller than the one in my caravan.
A typical hotel room with queen bed. Private bathroom. TV kettle ect but we are in the old house and not the motel. So much character. We love the old house️ Neat and tidy rooms. Friendly staff to greet you on arrival. Has an outdoor pool so an extra bonus. Excellent place to stay at very cheap rates. Would definitely stay here again
It was just me and the 12yr old girl staying. Excellent location. Water views are another bonus
Aesthetically a bit old and the neon orange and aqua needs to go. The queen bed mattress was sagging on my side so I had to sleep on the single bed away from my wife. Other than that it had an aircon that worked, the shower was ok and the communication was friendly
Comfortable bed. No hand towels, 3 only tea bags for 3 guests for 2 nights, no linen changed as suggested, have to remove key to access the kitchen, therefore the power cuts off to the room, no phone contact to office. Might have been @300 for the 2 nights, but tonight in a unit overlooking the ocean, $130 per night.
The staff were very friendly. The rooms and bathroom were clean, tidy and comfortable. However, there's not enough parking spaces for every room.
Paper thin walls, can hear next room, when they shower, use toilet and when their phones rings. Waterfront deceiving. Quilt had no cover on it. Definitely would never stay there again ever.
I would def stay here again. Friendly service, super affordable, clean and refreshed and a good location for early Bruny Island trip. Thanks
We had the Comfort Room which is very small. I guess can't complain about it because it's a Budget room.
The bed is not too comfortable. If you're a couple, consider to upgrade to a Queen Room.
The room is clean and has a microwave and a kettle.
5 mins drive to CBD.
Parking area is difficult to get into.
Will I recommend it to my friends? No.
Good for the travellers. But self cooking kitchen will be closed early May be you will find the way to get the keys of kitchen after hours
Friendly staff, comfortable room and a good location for day tripping. I had a great stay for 6 days.
It was a great location
the room was great and bed was comfortable
the shower was abit small but it was good
but another than that is a great hotel and would stay there again and use the pool next time
I spend 3 night in this motel. Motel was really clean and nice friendly staff too everything was perfect. Thank you very you warm hospitality
The reception staff were lovely. I booked 2 rooms. The rooms though were not clean. Dead bugs on the walls and roof. The back of the toilet door was disgustingly dirty. The rooms were very cold when we arrived, as it is very cold in Tasmania I thought the staff would turn the heater on for a cosy arrival.
A room for $85 is not going to be fancy, but this room had the basic comforts - column heater, electric blanket and a shower with good water pressure. Good for an overnight stopover.
Perfect stay, clean and well maintained property and budget friendly. If you up for some coffee do try cappuccino from reception.
Good view of waterway, spacious clean rooms, comfortable. Helpful staff. Reasonable price, close to city.
