Warm and beautiful decor. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets the best I have slept in. A soak in the deep bath relaxed a very tall man after a long drive. Warm fire and comfortable lounge was the icing on the cake. Lovely spot, close to great coffee.

A very central location for exploring Tasmania Far South. Very comfortable and modern accommodation separated from the main house.

Recently stayed for two nights at this exquisite accomodation. The space was clean and gorgeous - a perfect blend of old and new, with wooden features and neutral colours. Check-in was a breeze and the guestbook was immensely helpful in guiding us to some places to visit in the Huon. Free wi-fi, cooking ammenities and high quality products really were the icing on the cake. Will miss the wood fire for sure! Can't wait to come back and would highly recommend!

Couldn’t think of a single improvement to be made to our stay at Walton House. The accomodation is beautiful, new, homely and cosy. The attention to detail and love put into the renovations is incredible. Sarah and her family go above and beyond to accomodate to your needs and leave extra touches to make your stay super special. We particularly enjoyed the potbelly fire and the board games! The beds and linen sheets are also particularly good! Location is perfect. Far enough from Hobart to feel like you’re on a real adventure but close enough that everything you could ever possibly want to see and enjoy is a short drive away. Close to many quaint cafes and restaurants. We’re looking forward to another visit in the future. Highly recommend if you’re planning on visiting Tassie.

We recently spent 3 nights at Walton house. This is a fabulous B&B which has been fully renovated with quality and tasteful fittings. The full size Bath is nice touch on a cold Tassie night. We Stayed in the Hill view room which great as there was snow on the hillside.
The room has a very comfortable bed and big screen TV which can be viewed from the bed or chairs. The common area with a fireplace and out side terrace which has a big BBQ was much appreciated as we had been traveling for a while and enjoyed staying in.

Stayed at Walton House while visiting the Huon Valley. The most amazing B&B we have stayed in. Host Margi told us the history of Walton House while we enjoyed the fabulous breakfast that she had prepared. Would highly recommend Walton House to stay in while you visit Tassie. 5 Stars.

Stayed in Room 2 (out of 4) last month for one night. Absolutely fantastic - everything you ever want in the room, comfortable bed, double shower, port nightcap, chocolates, home made biscuits. Margie and Tom great, polite, attentive without over fussing. Superb location, close to Korean restaurant in town. Don't hesitate.

Great hosts, helpful as to where to eat and visit. Super room, warm, excellent bed and plenty of thoughtful extras. Breakfast was delicious with real home cooking. I would recommend staying with Margie and Tom and be sure to say hello to Molly the loveliest shaggy, obedient dog.

A beautiful quiet, bed and breakfast with an old world charm. Walton House is on the Huon Highway in Huonville. The house is in walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

The house has all the mod cons that you could ask for but with a touch of class. The touches such as a small carafe of port, homemade biscuits and fine china cups to drink from. Lace curtains, beveled mirrored wardrobes, wooden bed heads and ceiling rose lampshades.

However all the things we need in our modern world
are still there hidden away in cupboards. A flat screen tv, DVD player and a great collection of films, fridge and tea / coffee with a jug in each room.

Oh oh la la! There is a shower for two people. How thoughtful for the romantic night.

Breakfast! Continental for one night stayers or if you stay for three nights you have the option of a cooked breakfast. You can always pay a little extra for the cooked breakfast any day.

Beautiful place to stay, room was great and we were well looked after, Margie and her husband were great and the dog molly was beautiful
