I took my 3 year son for appointment twice with one day apart. 2nd visit was to discuss his blood results. First appointment receptionist bulk billed and 2nd appointment they charged me full fees. When I asked that why it is not bulk billed the receptionist replied that is what it is. I informed her that it is always been bulk billed for children under age 16 as per Victoria Street policy. She did not even wait for doctor to finalise the consult. Doctor came out and told her that he does not charge for children's consultation. Receptionist’s reply was that it is done now. She clearly refused to refund. Couple of staff members on staff are very rude, racist and clearly not aware about the policies and procedures of the organisation they are working for. Some of Doctors are amazing and I really appreciate them. Reception staff does not even listen when you tell them why you need appointment they ask people to go to the hospital.

Worst experience with Dr Deepthi, considering upon googling his name it states special interest in Chronic Disease Management, Emergency Medicine, Child Health and Mental Health. Twice now my daughter had had appointments first time her dad took her and he wasn’t interested in seeing her, asked who her usual dr is and why can’t she just see them, clearly emergency appointment so that’s why she was seeing a different doctor. He didn’t do ANYTHING. This week I took my daughter in for an emergency appointment I was running late as my son had fallen over and something stuck in his hand, reception told me that the dr could look at his hand while seeing my daughter. He told me I was too late for appointment nothing he could do for anyone, told me I had wasted his time even though after being a bit late I sat in reception for 10-15min. I wonder how many patients that go to him never actually get consults. He clearly from two experiences now has no interest in people’s well-being or health.

The receptionists are nothing but a rude bunch of toffee noses.
The doctors are very few and far between most of them don’t speak English and are very hard to understand and communicate with, they have no idea what they are doing, you discuss a problem you’re having and you get sent you on your way with no answers.
Hopeless.

Let's just hope you're NOT in a hurry to see a doctor. Wait times of 3 weeks or more just to get an appointment, that is of course if your GP isn't away in Bali on holidays. The doctors go on leave every 3 weeks!
